Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Celestial Beings (RPG thread)

Soon enough, Xifeng landed the Dynames, engaging the GN Cloak and placing her Gundam beside the Exia. Deciding that she didn't want her Haro to stay in the Gundam while they were here, the green haired woman took the small spherical robot out of it's slot. Laying her Gundam down, Xifeng soon exited, still in her tourist attire as well, with the Haro in her arms.

Hmm...everyone is here...is today's mission the usual search and destroy? I'm not complaining...just...some variety would be nice... She thought to herself as she walked, holding the green Haro close to her.

Having landed the Kyrios in a secure spot not far from where Xifeng landed her Dynames, Axel let out yet another deep sigh as she activated the GN cloak, concealing it completely from the public eye upon turning off the engine. Exiting the Gundam wearing a stained white men's T-shirt, a dirty pair of jeans, and slightly worn out sneakers, the green-haired young woman immediately tied a red bandanna over her head (for the purpose of soaking up her sweat due to the heat) as she began to walk around, hiding herself in plain sight. And my problems just keep adding up....I should wrap my shoes up with lots and lots of tape the next time I do desert treks like these... Axel thought to herself, looking to meet up with Xifeng and Asclepius soon.

Unlike his peer, Shan was alittle more or less not as eager to find the others. The mission time decided by Veda wasnt for a while. Shan sat and waited, he knew that likely they'll come find him. After all it takes a gundam to see another one, and his was quite large. "Besides, it wouldnt take long until Xifeng come find me anyways" Shan stayed in the gundam and broadcasted a feint signal to let his peers knows his precense. He then look at this watch " one hour before operation"

Nishi had landed in the Union's Mexico base, and he said," I just got a transmission, and Hughes will be coming soon, so don't worry he was not shot down his engine just over heated." As Nishi got out to cool his own engines he was talking to one of the commanders, and he said," So how is it you guys are able to operate here without your engines overheating?" The commander said," We have specially designed unions, realdos, and realdo tanks." Nishi hit his forehead, and said," That must be it, sorry now I feel stupid." The commander said," Its probably the heat going to your head." Nishi then nodded, and said," I think I need some water." Nishi then ran to the mess hall to grab a bottle of bottle of water, and he said," God I hope Hughes isn't stranded in the middle of no where, because he will so blame me."

 

[Kain]

"If someone goes down out here it is likely their own fault, or their mobile suits fault." an older officer said after overhearing Keita's comment. "You were one of the ones sent out here to test that Flags werent you? I spotted you and the other one on the radar, I must say you got potential but your quite sloppy if you let your machines overheat out here." he added.

"Even I could keep a normal Flag from overheating out here." he added. "I just realized I havent introduced myself, the name's Drake Lanzer, I was recently relocated here to test out some variant mobile suits"

"You do realize that the mission was just to meet up and wait for orders right? Besides you gotta be melting in that big fat Gundam of yours right about now, me and Xifeng did leave a rather nice hotel just to meet with you guys after all." Asclepius said jokingly through his portable com device in an attempt to mess with his fellow Gundam Meister,.

 

[Oblivion]

"All done" Hughes said as he landed his Flag steadily onto the ground. Opening the cockpit he stood up and got down from it with a supporter. "Man, the weather's hot here. I shouldn't use my Flag to 100% with this heat...I hate this place and it's heat..." Hughes said out loud sighing and looking at his Flag, thinking out loud as usual. He seems to have a habit of thinking out loud, alot and unnecessarily too. Taking off his helmet he ran over to where he spotted the commander and Keita. "Checking in, commander Drake Lanzer!" Hughes said, saluting, overhearing the commander's name just when he reached the two.

Xifeng noticed the disrepair of Axel's clothes and was puzzled in how she could wear something like that. I'm not into fashion all that much, but don't you have any common sense? You look more like a beggar or a mechanic than a Gundam Meister... Shaking her head at this, Xifeng heard Shan's faint transmission from his Gundam and noticed that he had said something about her.

Bringing out her own com device, Xifeng sent a message shortly after Asclepius did. "Are you just going to bake in there, Shan? ...come out, it won't hurt you to talk with us some..." She said, some disappointment in her voice. It was because of Shan that she started was this social in the first place, as he helped her open up some when they first met. For him to be the anti-social one this time just seemed ironic to her. People can be odd with their actions...doing and telling someone to be this one day, but acting against it the next...interesting, don't you think, Haro? As she thought this, she looked at the small green robot in her arms with a slight smile.

Nishi just sighed, and said," But then again I shouldn't be trying to blame others or try to make excuses, so yea I think I could clean up my flying, but sadly I'm not used to the heat yet." Nishi then took a drink out of his bottle of water, and then said to Drake," So what new models were me, and Hughes sent to test pilot?" Nishi was unsure of the new models that Hughes, and Nishi were going to test pilot.

"Originally the plan was to keep you in your Flags to see how they could handle the heat out here, but obviously that wont work until they have had a little work done." Drake told them"So until your Flags have had their tune-up you will be limited to our Desert Realdos or the Shell Flag, whichever you may prefer and both are pretty sweet rides if I do say so myself." he told them

"Also be careful around the locals we may be in our own territory but some of them arent exactly happy about that, hell we've had some recent conflicts with some guerilla forces who apparently have some rather powerful hired hands on their side." he explained.

Elsewhere...........

A pair of patrolling Realdos had just spotted something rather interesting, in the midst of some radio interference what looked like a mobile suit suddenly vanished as if it werent even there. Needless to say they rushed back to the base to report what they saw, due to the apparent radio troubles they had no choice but to deliver the information in person..

"Commander Lanzer I believe we have some information you may wanna hear." one of them said after running up to him and the two other pilots before explaining what they had seen.

"Thats gotta be them, nothing else can pull that off...." the ace pilot said looking a little excited. "Allright get me a Shell Flag ready and get the new guys some mobile suits while your at it, we got some Gundams to frag!"

Nishi thought about what it would be like piloting the shell flag, and he said," Can the shell flag go in the air because I hate land combat." Nishi knew the answer would be no, so he sighed, and then the word Gundam was said and Nishi's excitement level jumped to the extreme, and he said," Ok if its the Gundam I'll take anything as long as I am in fit condition to take them out." Nishi laughed, and said," Its not a rivalry I just think that if I can take down a Gundam maybe they'll be able to salvage whats left, and make me my own." Nishi laughed as he walked towards the hanger, and said," Sand color paint for a sand covered area is totally expected, but around here I guess with the heat you guys don't deal with air combat as much as we do." Nishi was happy he would finally be able to go up against the likes of the Gundams, and he muttered," Those misters are going to not expect whats going to come at them."
