About this mentos and soda deal. It actually made my local news a couple months ago. This guy they interviewed said it's actually the texture of the mentos that causes the erruprion of coke and even small stones instead of the mentos will create the same effect.

I have not comment on this phenomenon except that I hate soda and this is a far better use for it.

Ahhh yeah, this.. well, this was sorta one of those internet things that went crazy. G4TV's "Attack of the Show" did this event thing where they were staging this HUGE amount of Diet Coke and mentos combo and the two people did this stage show for it.

While it's not the best quality, it looks like someone nearby was recording it as well. I was trying to see if the main website on G4 had a video of it posted, but it doesn't seem to be loading up at the moment, but it's amusing really.
