Megaranger seems underrated

Just a tad. :)

But Megaranger is a very good series. There was a lot done right and we got a fantastic evil Ranger group out of it.

QFT.

Mega is an awesome sentai series that combines a lot of the older elements with newer. I loved Megaranger. Solid cast, solid acting, solid story.

But I've recently read that the Ohranger toys sold really well, so despite its pitiful ratings and performance, I've begun to wonder if the tales of sentai's cancellation after Ohranger were a wee bit exaggerated.

The only real complaint I ever had with Ohranger was lack of arcs. I was hoping for alot more but other then that I thought it was enjoyable.

Sentai needs to have more evil ranger teams, IMO

Agreed. AbareKiller was our last Evil Ranger Senshi, hopefully we'll get a team or something soon.

I've seen all of Megaranger and thought it was a great series. The monster designs appealed to me a lot as well as the mechas. I can't get enough of Super Galaxy Mega and those gattling guns! :buttrock:

I mainly watched for the villains. I wanted to see the difference between the PRiS villains and Megaranger villains.

Overall, I personally think both series were good. I can't choose between Megaranger or PRiS. Each have their own good points.

I've only seen the episodes subbed by TV-N, but so far I'd have to say it's my favorite Sentai. It might not have the drama of Jetman or the fight scenes of a Dairanger, but there's something about the simplicity and whimsical nature of it all that really does it for me.

MegaRed might be one of my favorite Red Rangers. Instead of the "Captain Cardboard" type or the Red Rookie we've seen a lot of lately, we have someone with the unwavering character traits of a leader, but also all the traits of a goofball slacker. He's the first one to jump in whenever his friends are in trouble... it's just sometimes that "jump" could have been better planned.

So many great moments in the first few episodes: Kenta making Dr. K buy him barbecue in payment for being a ranger, Dr. K ignoring Miku's request for cake, Kenta's fight with the Kendo team... the list goes on. Really hoping to see more.

Another best part of the series is seeing the Delta Galaxy Mega, Mega Voyager, and Wing Voyager together in the fight against the NejiRed, NejiBlack, and NejiYellow. All three of the Sentai mechas in one scene. That has got to be the best thing to ever watch.

Also, Mega Voyager wielding Galaxy Mega's sword. =O

While I don't think you should judge your favorite series off of 7 episodes, I do think you've got a pretty solid understanding of the series.

I loved Megaranger. Pretty good story. I saw In Space first and I love both entities. The both were good in the perspective series. Megasilver is my japanese hero like Zhane is my American hero. The both use the greatest morpher/changer known to man. And the weapons, mecha/zords everything was great about this show.
