Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds (Spring 2011)

There was a topic on the MvC3 Facebook page about which Marvel character would be the best match up for Dante. The popular choices seem to be Thor, Blade and Deadpool.

Personally, IMO, the best match up for Dante would be Magik.

DUDE, I SWEAR, IT'S DEFINITELY SPIDERMAN! Both loves to tease! Can't imagine if they're teasing each other during battles ;). That's gonnabe hillarious.

but AGAIN, different person different opinions ;)

We also now know TvsC is the new control scheme for the VS scene. Two assists and three attack buttons. Me like.

Unconfirmed. Too early to tell.

TvC was three attacks and one assist.

Plus there's this:
"There's a lot of stuff flying around, but in terms of SFIV, the biggest similarity is simply in terms of using 3D models with a 2D fighting style. 3v3 is back, and as far as "completely different" from MVC2 I would say that is simply not correct. It ain't. In terms of gameplay, between SFIV, TVC, and MVC2, MVC3 will by far most resemble MVC2." - Seth Killian, in a post on capcom-unity.com

Or this:

"We'll be getting into one of the key things that makes Marvel (Vs Capcom) 3 totally different, or you know, a unique experience from Marvel (Vs Capcom) 2... I shouldn't say that it's (Marvel Vs Capcom 3) is totally different. Fans of Marvel (Vs Capcom) 2 are not going to be alienated by (Marvel Vs Capcom) 3.

We're definitely not evacuating Tatsuonoko [Vs. Capcom]. They're quite different games. You're not going to have everything you liked about Tatsunoko Vs Capcom sucked out and put on another platform. "

I'm assuming we'll get MvC2 controls. Four attack, two assist.

I'm actually hoping for a 6 attack/multibutton assist scheme like the arcade version of MvC2, but I have a feeling they're goign to go with the 4/2 dreamcast scheme, it's just easier to pull off on a d pad that way
