Malaysia's HJU FANS!

I ♥ M'sia and must thank RTM (or whatever channel thats responsible) for airing Suria Perkasa Hitam, many many years ago.

was it suria baja hitam?:O_O:

Indonesia aired it as "Ksatria Baja Hitam". Malaysia took it and redubbed it into "Suria Perkasa Hitam."

When it was airing on the M'sian channel, you can see that they took it from the Indonesian version/copy, because whenever they wanted to go to commercials, there'll be a static screen showing "Ksatria Baja Hitam". But when he yelled his henshin in the Malay version, he actually yelled out the M'sian version.

What the hell does Baja means in Indo anyway? From what I know, that thing means cow **** that you used to make soils fertile. No wonder M'sian redubbed/come up with their own name.

Doesn't Ksatria Baja Hitam mean Masked Rider Black? Whoa. You guys were awesome. Still could understand malay language. When I was watching it. All I knew was those three words cos it was spelt out on screen. Other than that, I could only see this handsome idol guy whom I thought was a singer of sorts, since he was doing those flashy poses before transforming into a grasshopper hero (well, 2 decades later I found out he actually sang the OP and ED, so technically I was right XD) and nothing else cept everything was noise to me.

When I found out Hitam means black, I naturally deduced Ksatria means Masked, Baja means Rider. Lol.

is it indonesia minami kotaro is basri right? i even heard he call by other names in other country such as robert.... ircc.

"Ksatria" means Warrior. I've just checked that in Indonesian language, "Baja" could mean "Steel" or "Armour". So if you add 'em up, "Ksatria Baja Hitam" is Warrior Armour BLACK (word by word). Of course, this doesn't sound right, but if you rearrange them into normal english language, you'll get "Black Armoured Warrior." (which makes more sense)

The M'sian version is pretty straightforward, and more close to the original Japanese version. "Suria Perkasa Hitam" is "Sun Strong Black" (again, it doesn't sound right, word by word), but its quite close to the original version, which is BLACK SUN. They should have just drop the middle name.
