Major 3DS Price-drop

You DO realize that even with the region-lock, there are other methods of playing foreign 3DS games. You've never heard of a modchip or an R4?

Also, a grudge on the DS? The DS has an immense library of great games and anyone who isn't a fanboy will tell you this!

Do these things exist already for 3DS?
The grudges for the system are for the reasons:
1. Killed the PSP in the US, a reason lots of games are No Export for You (even though you can import them
2. Ahem, Disney Channel games in the DS? PSP only got one.

Because I'm a big fan of Pokemon, I had about 30 DS games when mine first broke and I just went back to playing Pokemon Fire Red on my GBA, until Diamond and Pearl were announced then I went and picked up another DS. I really only buy nintendo handheld systems for main pokemon titles since they're enjoy-able to me and worth my money.

I used to buy Nintendo handhelds for that reason. Heck, I have a Teal Game Boy Color, a GBSP ,and two DS's (The very first one I gave to my sister's bf), but with how the 3DS is , I will just wait to buy it towards the end of its run or go for the Vita and get the emulator. While I cannot tell you how to spend your own money , my belief is if a system only has one game I want versus a few others on another and only a bit pricier , I'll go for the pricier one . But on the other hand , I want to continue with the Pokemon series, which is a debacle in of itself.

or a PSP Vita which has all that and better graphics minus the 3D.

You forgot "and nothing but lazy ports for games and incredibly crap battery life" (the latter being true for both handhelds at this point).

Honestly, neither the 3DS or Vita look that impressive. At this rate both of them are going to get killed by Mobile Phone Gaming and that makes me rather sad inside.

@Loghorn: ...so...they lost a LOT of money when they first released the 3DS?

Quoting me out of context I see ...

Looking at comparing the systems, I much would rather get the Vita because of the graphics and that I'll get more for my money than Nintendo's 3DS. You could say the same about Nintendo ,because their games have not changed whatsoever and they just feel all the same besides Pokemon and Metroid. If I wanted a 64 game , I'd buy a 64 so if I'm getting a new system, I expect new games or twists and not rehashes which put in stupid gimmicks.Maybe it's because of the stigma that is 3D but nonetheless , when I first saw it I first thought it would be awesome but then the fact it's 3D and that Nintendo is doing it I knew they'd find a way to screw it up .

Call me whatever you want but seriously , I have only seen new things on the other consoles and it makes me feel like I'm screwed over despite motion controls alongside bootleg quality video games where only Disney and Import games are good .

I agree with you only on one point. Mobile gaming is the **** .

Arnoldmcguire335, those two are so true . QTF.

Well, that's my point, I'm really not sure the Vita is "more for your money". Yes, it has flashier graphics but graphic power alone isn't all that impressive anymore.

Considering the vast majority of the Vita's launch line up is using "rehashes which put in stupid gimmicks" too, this statement amuses me.

Also considering the only reason the cross-console compatibility with the PS3 exists is because the developers wanted to be even lazier with making ports for it, this statement becomes even more amusing.

... Okay, I'm confused here. Are you talking about the Wii (which, uhh, man, that last statement is so untrue and it irritates me a little that people keep propagating that myth) or the DS (which is a DOUBLEPLUS untrue statement)?

Also, the DS didn't kill the PSP in the US. SONY killed the PSP in the US when it tried to screw over its existing user base out of 90% of their game library with the whole PSPGo debacle.
