It's obviously too soon to form a justified opinion, but if anything, I hope it's along the lines of the original Macross and Macross Plus. Macross Zero was just a big lump of dumb.

No...That would be a CGI Valkerie. And whats wrong with CGI-ing them. Macross Zero did it and so did the excellent Shadow Chronicles.

Every time I hear Macross mentioned, I think back to when I was watching Macross Plus and noticed all the insane similarites to Top Gun.
