Oh I'm sure it is, but I'm gonna call out crap when I see it especially when more than half the anime of Spring 2010 is awesome and interesting. Even B Gata H Kei which I initially wrote off as dumb, but ended up being tons of fun and hilarious. It's honestly no different than saying how you said FMA's second half sucked even though personally I liked it.

...If you say so. I saw B Gata H Kei. Now THAT'S pandering. So much could've been done with that story--they went for a comedy I've seen several dozen times before. They could have done an actual hentai and it would've been better.
And this Spring Season...gah. Heroman, Shin Koihime Musou, Senkou no Night Road...uhm. I can't think of anything else worth watching, honestly.

Let me get this straight, you have seen another anime that has a girl as the main character lusting after a bunch of guys instead of the other. And that's the main character. Please let me know of those dozens of anime. I'd love to hear it.

Its that she isn't good at it. I'm a big fan of changing a formula to turn it on its head...but that doesn't change the formula enough. And its not just that she isn't good at it...she doesn't even know the basic parts of a guy's anatomy, but she's going to sleep with one hundred of them? Yeaahhh....no thanks.
...I was trying to avoid it, particularly since we're on a forum for a genre of television with a subgenre (Sentai) that, pretty much just panders to one demographic.
You say pander like its just the fanservice-hungry people that are pandered to and several of the *other* series coming out this year aren't doing the same.
My bad. I have my picks but I haven't sat down to watch them yet so I'm a little unfamiliar with the names.
Exactly. That's all I watch--what catches my attention. In all fairness, I forgot about Mayoi Neko Overrun and SD Gundam Sangokuden. But Working!!! is too close to the maid/butler genre. HATE that stuff.
I edge away from depressing series, so Rainbow's out. Angel Beats SHOULD be depressing, so its out too (though it may not be...that would be wasted set-up).
The continuing series don't really count for me. At any rate, while there are a few series I like...none of it compares to 2008. Too much comedy, not enough action.
