Ugh, I'd love to see them show Zyuranger and see which one they liked more.

And of course kids think because there was no CGI it's cheesy.
Say that to the pyrotechnics and suit actors in 1992.
I'm sure they wouldn't be very happy.

Zyuranger is kinda even more cheesy.
Kids would probably be like "What.The.****?"

They did basically tell them about Super Sentai, though. And they took it surprisingly well, I thought. About the same rationale as anyone who learns Power Rangers is an adaption.

In fact, I'm kind of surprised they went that far. Is it really necessary to let the kids know about it? They have their whole lives to find out about Super Sentai, if that interests them enough. Furthermore, they didn't even follow it up with the news about what Shout Factory is releasing. You'd think the Fine Bros. would be a little more up to date on stuff like this.

To be honest, at the time, my older cousins said most of this stuff too. Specially "this is cheesy" and "why they do introduce theirselves with silly poses?" . They were like 14 or something.

I remember the time MMPR came (we had Liveman and Jiban before, in Spain) I was like 9 and into anime so I didnt have to excuse myself for watching it, but other kids had it as a guilty pleasure. Bullies would laugh at you for watching such a kiddie show.
