Kid "Morphs" as Red MF Ranger during robbery

Some one here should do something so they can end up on The View.

Try robbing a bank while wearing a red ranger suit. And use the plastic magi staff with a real knife blade glued to the end of it.

Lol! That's awesome! I mean the media could have blasted the Kid and turned this story into something negative but wow! They like just celebrated it as a good thing, the family gets to go to disney world, the kid got every MF power ranger toy ever, and he gets to meet all the power rangers at Disney World. The little sister got mountains of toys too and they each got a medal from a "black" ranger? I wonder which ranger they could mean...

I love the part where he's like "Mystic Force ranger! I've never been the SPD one". Lol, they should have put him in the MF suit not he SPD one! lol.

Daym that's awesome though. I bet this entire story brought a grin from ear to ear on the PR-TV producers faces.

The fanbase are becoming steadily negative about it though, and I have to agree with them. I personally think this whole **** is embarrasing the fandom more than helping it, especially with the signs of a resurgence in popularity amongst older fans who have been distanced from the franchise.

The Burgler had more to do with fleeing the scene that that brat did, he made a conscious decision to leave, he oculd have blown his brains out if he wanted to. Obviously spilling innocent blood was'nt on his agenda, but he still made the call on what to do, not someone in a costume.

resurgence of older fans? Heh... yeah right. That will never happen. PR isnt that great and nor is Sentai. They're kids shows and there's nothing "mature" about them in any way. Maybe there was during LSR or TF but not anymore. You have to deal with that. It's an aquired taste and most people wont view the show the same way we do and most people wont like it.

No, Stevie doesnt "embaress" the fandom. The fandom embaresses itself almost every day. Sentai/PR is an aquired taste.

=-=-=-=-=

The robbers ran because they were high and got freaked out by Stevie. So Stevie did make a difference. Yes, the entire family that was held hostage has confirmed this as a fact. Not just one family member who wasnt there, the follow up articles have confirmed this is what happened according to the entire family. Stevie ran in swinging the cute sword, robbers were baked, freaked out, and ran dropping some stuff.

Which backs up my theory. What if Stevie didnt do anything. The robbers wouldnt have gotten "freaked out" and maybe.. they might've escalated the robbery to full blown murder.

That was according to Stevie's uncle who was NOT there at the time of the robbery and did not witness what took place.

I've read some follow up articles and they list the family, the ones who were held hostage, confirming this is what happened. Not just the uncle.

I knew I should have saved that article because now I can't find it, or if I find a link it's been "removed". Not to mention the family probably told the Uncle what happened and he reiterated for them because in that specific article you're refering to, the family wasnt willing to talk to the press about the incident.

Edit: Found a similar article which this time has the MOTHER stating this:

His mother says he snuck away, and put on his Power Ranger costume and tried to fight the robbers.

His mom thinks he spooked the men and they ran away. The robbers did escape with money, credit cards and cell phones.

Wow.

That reminds me of a speech someone gave today about how they always wanted to be the Green Ranger when they were little.

As for the kid... That's cute and all, but if I was a parent, the last thing I would want is my kid trying to "protect" the family against armed men.
