Keanu Talks Cowboy Bebop

Oh I meant confused, not lost. I asumed that picture was about that amv "clip" they mentioned but yah I agree, keanu doesn't match Spike at all. He can try a new style, the fans still won't like it. The fans will give this movie the same treatment they're giving too Dragonball, nothing but ****

The picture is for the AMV. I have utter distaste for any and all AMV's and it shows sloppy work and un-professionalism if you use an AMV as an example for any series or whatever you are trying to show.

And don't be so hasty. If he tries a new style AND IT WORKS the fans will think different of Keanu and possibly like it. Same thing happened with Christopher Walken not to long ago with Weapon of Choice, actors can be seen in different lights. Its still far too early to tell anything, only an angry and childish fan would be ranting like a snotty brat about this film at this time.

And Dragonball isn't a good comparison at all to use. Because this is the fan reaction of Dragonball "It looks like ****, theres no way this can be redeeming, I'll still see it on opening night and buy the DVD".

i can see keanu matrix dodging tons of bullets while doing wire-fu against the bad guys with his "bill and ted" persona...:buttrock:

Haitien, why do you feel like you have to "pwn" everybody anytime any kind of dicussion like this comes up? You even disagree with people that agree with you.

Keanu needs to stay away from the movie. I cant imagine a character he would be good for.

Anywho, expanding the first episode into a whole movie? That's just fuckin lazy. Cowboy Bebop has so much more to offer in terms of story than just... that.

Well I could ask you the same question. It all depends on how you look at things, your views tend to be more erratic while mine seem more efficacious, its a shame our views differ. And I wouldn't exactly call parsing words agreeing with me, so I explained further. Now enough childish johning left and right, lets all just run along before some bigotry runs a legitimate thread right into the ground.

Gotta agree about the hate for this particular AMV. Cowboy Bebop and System of a Down are two great tastes that go together like Bratwurst and Lemon Tarts: completely incongruous.

As for the movie, I really have no hate what so ever for Keanu Reeves, and think he could quite possibly do a decent job as Spike (not my first pick, but who am I to deny a guy his hopes and dreams. Poor guy already lost the Gambit part to Ryan Fuckin' Reynold). I just hope that a live action port of Cowboy Bebop gets the full budget treatment and the seriousness it deserves.
