So...

No cliffhanger? No lead-up to the Movie War 2011?

Honestly, I'm kinda disappointed at the finale. For me, the REAL tearjerker is at episode 48. But seriously, I'm disappointed.

I mean, how they revived Phillip, it was just so...lackluster for me. C'mon! They can think of a better, more epic way to revive him that THAT!

But that's just my two cents.

I thought it was awesome and I'm really, really going to miss it. The show had its flaws but made them loveable damn you and it was a rare example of a series that could make me like the heroes as characters, instead of just wanting to see them fight bad guys and kill stuff. Farewell W, I shall never forget you.

It took me awhile to realize those scenes with Wakana at the hospital/visiting her mom were flashbacks, but I have two questions:

-Why was Shroud already dead?

-Wakana died 1 year ago, Shotaro didn't know she was gone?

I think he knew. But some of the parts in this episode doesn't make sense.

This strengthen my guess of it being written as a two parter but the episode lost in June cut off that part.

Like the Energy dude, damn that's a long grudge he's held with Shotaro then.

Actually it's been a year. As Phillip said, Wakana gave him, her body a year ago. The same day Shotaro is at the pet shop he visit Wakana

Yeah, I took it back as soon as I saw Futo tower under construction.

But man...Accel...it's ability is Accelerated healing powers

But some things still don't make sense though. You probably say pet shop and hospital happened on the same day because Shotaro was holding the bag of cat food. But look at the scene again. It's definitely Shotaro flashing back to the hospital when he was walking home after the cat food. The screen-wipe highly suggests it's a flashback. In fact, it happens before and after every flashback scene, except for the interlaced ones of Gaia Impact and Sho being shot. That was confusing as hell the first time.

In short, I still say the grudge is 1 day old.

As a side note, I'm pretty sure Shotaro buys cat food every day now. They just happen to use the exact same prop in every scene so it's confusing lol.

I'll just chalk it all up to the writers probably intending it to be a two-parter.
