Kamen Rider The Next Sequel?

I prefer it to be called Kamen Rider THE FORCE, or anything like that, I don't think it should end off to Black just yet. I want to see from Riderman till ZX modernize. I don't want them to jump to Black just yet. Though it's kinda nice if they kept producing remakes like this till J. Then maybe wait a few years till they finally remake Kuuga, which would probably be 10-20 years from now...

A remade Kuuga... ****? Imagine it...LOL

Usually box office numbers dictate whether a studio will make a sequel or not. Also if the story allows for it.

So does any one have the numbers on The Next? If it raked in more than it cost and interest is still high then I don't see why Toei wouldn't crank out another one

The most up to date numbers I could find said that THE NEXT made around $2 million and reached a peak of 9th at the box office...which I think is significantly worse than THE FIRST.

Give them some time and they might do a sequel. At the moment like mentioned above they are busy with the KR- Deno movies.

The odds of that stuff happening, while being nice to see, are slim to none unfortunately. There's money, funding, and whats marketable involved in projects not just what fans think "should" happen. And Japanese studios aren't made of money like Western studios such as Weinstein or WB.

And personally I see Remakes of something like Kuuga being completely redundant and shows a lack of originality.

I personaly fealt instead of doing a movie version of the first, they should have done a Television version of it, a Jdrama Kamen rider remake, if you will. heck, the first movie fealt like a gigantic pilot IMO. each of the first five shows would have been 13 hour long episodes and aired after the next one. just my two cents.

Eh, sorry but American adaptation of Kuuga and Agito is just too much, I mean the God-like stories, involving unnatural things and ancient stuffs, I don't see them coming to America. I mean they could, but it wouldn't FEEL like Kuuga OR Agito, or even Kamen Rider anymore, if you will...
