Good to see Ren was a smart dude and used his wish wisely.
One thing I'm confused about, though, in regards to the Mirror World. But I'll watch the movie and vs Agito first.
The more I think about it, the more problems the Mirror World has. Ah well, it was an ok season. I think 555 was better, though.
I think when I'm 100% done I'll watch Dragon Knight just because it's appropriate. I caught a few episodes of that show back when it was on TV, but I obviously had no idea what to make of it. It was my first exposure to anything Kamen Rider, because somehow I missed Masked Rider when I was a kid. I remember Beetle Borgs, but not Masked Rider. Ah, whatever.

Ouja was the ONLY thing that kept me watching Ryuki.
I will have to disagree. At least Ryuki had a real ending. It was a cliched ending, but Ryuki ended. Hell it ended 3 times. Faiz has so many plot holes and such a shitty ending or I should do "ending"...

Yes, Ryuki's ending is conclusive (despite being your typical Japanese ending, in my opinion), but 555 was a better ride for me. It's ending was a stupid move and the final arc was a huge plot hole in itself for what it tried to accomplish, but 555 had more memorable characters and kept me interested to the end.
I liked Kitoaka, but he doesn't get enough development or really great scenes to make it to any of my favorite characters list like Kaidou did. As I said before, Ryuki's last ten episodes dragged a bit.
It's certainly not bad or anything, but 555 was the more entertaining season.
Oh man, do I disagree with that. Femme was interesting, but other than that I'll stick with the show's ending. It may be a cliched Japanese ending, but it's so much better than "Yui commits suicide then Shinji and Ren fight a giant ball of dragonflies THE END."
What the hell was with all the Agito cameos in the movie? I'm not used to that at all.
Speaking of Agito, the Hyper Battle video was bleh outside of Ouja being amazingly out of character. I still think Kabuto's is the best Hyper Battle video I've seen so far.
And now being 100% done, the Mirror World is still confusing. Supposedly the ghost of Shirou created it, but at the same time the world existed when he and Yui were kids. How does that make sense? With how everything was leading up, it looked like Shirou invented the world with SCIENCE and was by default lord and master over it. From there it makes perfect sense that the monsters are based on their childhood drawings and actively serve and protect Yui when she's nearby.
But once they establish that it existed even when they were kids that goes right out the window and everything about it comes into question.
How exactly does the Rider War's outcome result in the winner getting a wish? How does that work? Especially considering how Shirou died right after Yui did. What kind of power does the guy have to be able to do that? And where did he come from if his original self died years ago?
I'll give the movie credit for retconning a few things, because the idea that the Rider War was based on a lie is much more plausible and interesting.

Ouja is pretty clearly kept alive by being, at the time, the most popular character in the show. And honestly, he might be the best character, he's certainly the one who makes the most sense in terms of motive and modus operandi.

I think Shougo once said it best, in that in the movie's version of the ending, Ren and Shinji are going out like partners.
Sure, they probably don't make it out but, it's a more heroic way to finalize it than the TV's one.
