Milky Rose
is Mayor of Farmville
It is the year 25XX. The small island nation of Japan, in response to the appalling increase in crimes, invested copious amounts of time and money to create a small, man-made island located several miles off the coast of Japan's main Honshu island. This island is called Gokusha island. It's purpose: to house all those who have been tried and convicted of the hard crimes, such as murder, robbery, and such. With such a massive floor space and thousands of jail cells, this small island, aptly named for the Japanese word for prison, seemed to be a great idea.
However, much like any and all prisons in the country itself, the island of Gokusha eventually filled up, as the crime rate did not seem to drop. On top of that, there have been several eyewitness reports of a growing problem brewing in the city: monsters have been spotted roaming about in the mirrors, victimizing anyone that happens to stand too close to the mirror. Everyone, including the police, live in fear, for this threat of monsters living in mirrors is one thing that no one can combat.
Sensing the unrest brewing within the populace of the nation, the Japanese government once again reached into their seemingly deep treasury to develop weapons for the police to use against the mirror monsters: card decks that allow one to transform and enter the mirror world to counter the threat of the monsters. While the problem of unknown effectivity was brought up, the government had a ready answer for such a question: pull thirteen prisoners from Gokusha island and have them participate in a free-for-all battle royale, with the promise of full pardon for all crimes if he or she is the last person standing.
This is where the story begins...
-------------------------
A buxom young woman with long, purple hair tied in a ponytail, and a smug look on her face, stood inside one of the holding cells of the transport boat she stood in. Her outfit, a bright orange jumpsuit made of denim, effectively covered up her body's curves, while heavy chains attached to her wrists and ankles prevented her from moving about too much. Based on these chains, one can probably assume that she was a very dangerous criminal, capable of inflicting fatal harm to the guards escorting her to prison. However, despite the practically deadpan yet murderous expression on her face, the young woman -- Yuri Ozawa -- remained fairly docile throughout the boat ride to her final destination: Gokusha island.
It was at that moment that two prison guards, armed with heavy-duty assault rifles as precaution, arrived at her holding cell on the boat, and promptly opened up the door for her. "Come on now. Move it. We're here," one of the guards called out to her rudely, as if she was the devil incarnate. Glaring back at the guards with a rather annoyed expression, rather than an angry one, Yuri wordlessly obeyed the prison guards' commands, and walked out of the holding cell of the transport boat, her legs' movements rather limited due to the chains of her ankle cuffs.
Emerging from the transport boat onto the concrete dock, Yuri saw for the first time her new home of Gokusha island: An extremely tall concrete wall completely circling about the perimeter of the island. The very tops of the walls were lined with a long-stretching coil of barbed wire, erected there during construction to prevent prisoners from climbing over and escaping. As an added security, at the joint of the walls stood turrets, where more armed guards stood sentry throughout the compound, both inside and outside the fortified walls. Welcome home, huh? These guys sure know how to make people feel welcome... Yuri sarcastically remarked to herself, moving toward the rather small gate ahead of her after being prodded by one of the guards with the muzzle of his automatic rifle.
((RPG is a-go-go! People can be doing whatever, but nobody has their rider decks at this point. ))
