Kamen Rider Os / OOO - 2010 Rider Series

I think in a article in a recent magazine Uchusen in an interview with Toei they mentioned the 40th Anniversary and how OOO will be part of it or something.

Even if they mentioned it in an interview answer, that seems pretty informal and small. Toei also briefly mentioned that Dragon Knight was part of the 10th anniversary of the Heisei Riders, but that basically didn't matter.

Now, of course, we haven't even gotten a big teaser at this point, which is why I mentioned the lack of 40th anniversary material (they probably will get around to doing something, eventually)...

However, Kabuto had the "35th year" everywhere, Decade's case was obvious, and Double had "new decade/new era" even in its basic teaser, which initially made everyone think it took place in the future. So far, OOO has had no "landmark" mentions at all, aside from being called the "12th Heisei series" in that initial press event. I think this is odd, although I guess Toei still has time to change their atittude...

The language barrier is great for things like that.

If OOO were actually an official 100th Rider, you'd think Toei would have mentioned it somewhere in the promotional material we've seen, not just completely ignored that. Of course, they seemingly haven't even mentioned the 40th anniversary so far...
Honestly I dont think Toei would of realized there were 100 riders. There not gona count all of them but the nerd in his moms basement he will.

Doesn't W actually take place in 2017?

I see, I see. I got a near-future vibe from the setting but it'd also work just as a Western-style "superhero city."
