But it was clearly shown that all the remaining Cores were grabbed by the Greeeds were they were in the air.

It was also clearly shown that they didn't actually get every Core when the camera showed their hands, they jumped for them, but didn't get them somehow. Like I've said, I think this is just a set up to allow their return later.

1. After the Greeeds tried to grab, there was nothing in the air, watch that bit in Youtube and you can see three hands swirling in the air for 3 seconds and everything was gone.
2. If you look closely at Kazari's hands, he actually got a handful of Cores, he couldn't open his hands because there was too many of them. I think Kazari got really a lot. Well Uva said something after he got the Cores, I guess he said he got a little amount of Cores, I think everything will be clear after the subs come out.

Yep. All of the Cores were snagged. Going with Uva as getting 3 and Kazari getting 10.

Actually:

Gamel got 14 Cores.
Mezool got 1 Core.
Mezool absorbed Gamel, Maki gave her 2 more Cores: 14+1+2=17

Ankh got 4.
Uva got at least 3.
And I can see at least 5 in Kazari's hand.

17-4-3-5=5, the two Greeeds have a lot more Cores than shown!

I know, without adding Eiji getting the Kuwagata & Karakiri but himself caught the other 2 Medals.

That's strange, there should be 15 Cores instead of 14.
