I would more than likely say that he isn't used to using that aspect of power yet, as it was the first time using it. When you're playing with something as volatile as electricity, you're bound to get shocked yourself. And if he only shocked himself in the air, then it was because he wasn't grounded like he was during the first few blasts.

This guy

is Satoshi Fujita, the suit-actor for Mezool. :wub: He's credited as a member of the Ride Vendor squad. The JAE appearances page gives the name Iizuka (literally mound of food) for this character.
