It seems so untraditional, yet the only excuse for that is that it's a cosplay cafe. So.....

A definite improvement. Both Eiji and Ankh got quite a bite of character development. We're given a serious introduction to Ankh's ruthlessness, and I enjoyed how he updated on the modern world and such. Eiji came across as a stronger character than the opener, and he's gone from an idiot in episode 1 to someone who actually seems pretty smart. Plus, I find the suggestion he's constantly moving is actually an interesting character trait. And I loved how they're using each other "Oh, if you hurt the girl, I may accidentally drop the OOO driver into the river...oh that would be horrible", followed by "If you don't do exactly what I say, I won't give you the medals and you won't be able to save anyone". Nice interplay. As for the rest, Kougami, we've got confirmation that they are just using OOO but the scene was ruined by "and now who's having a birthday". Bike guy, still don't care. Hina, I'm not bothered. I enjoyed the Greed in this one. Kazari seems quite interesting, and I'm interested in the relationship between the other Greeed, if they ultimately are all going to be working against each other. I'm still not sure of the series, but this was a step up. Now we just need decent fight scenes (I liked the Rider Kick, but too much comedy in the fight. Fine if you've established how the best fights will play out ala Double, at this stage...no).

Oh and caught the Nihon sub of episode 2. Didn't increase my enjoyment, but I have to say that they made the Greed scene and Ankh explaining the ice candy thing a whole lot clearer.
