Kamen Rider OOO - Talk Up!

Just finished watch episode 2.

So, why Ankh is persistent to save Eiji? Is Eiji the only one who can use OOO Driver, or is Eiji the only person he met who gladly fights Yummy without reason other than saving other's life/Eiji is easy to manipulate so he can collect Cell Medals freely?

Why other Greeeds don't bother collecting Cell Medals like Ankh, is it because other Greeeds don't need anymore Cell Medals because they already have complete body(although not fully complete), rather they use their Cell Medals to create Yummy?

And I'm thinking the reptile and dinosaur Greeed are the new Greeed Kogami makes with the Medals he collected.

Has there been any KR shows that have been cancelled??? Just curious... :)

Ryuki is constantly brought forth as the one that got close to cancellation, but I've never seen any evidence for that.

One title in another large Japanese franchise, Gundam X, was actually cut short due to declining ratings.

Well, just watched episode 2 and OOO is still a fun ride for me so far. It's not perfect and I liked the first episode better, yes, but I had fun and that's what counts in the end.

I'm liking the candroids, even if the flock of Taka Candroids reminded me a bit to "The Birds". On the other side, the Tako Candroids were adorable and plenty useful during the fight. Does anybody know if there is going to be a Gorilla Candroid?

Yaoi fangirls must have had a wonderful time during Ankh's seminar about Medals using popsicles as example... And even feeding Eiji...

I'm a bit confused with this week's Yummy. All he did was to feed itself and in any moment went behind Ankh, even when Ankh was really near to it. And I don't understand why it started to eat the building if the cop thief's desire was for money.

There were rumors that Amazon was canceled, which might explain its incredibly short run, but apparently a newspaper printed that it would be a short series before it even began airing, so no one really knows there. Stronger was originally meant to be 52 episodes, so it might have been canceled, I do know that flagging ratings basically meant that a lot of TV stations at the time decided to no longer air Kamen Rider and Toei asked Ishinomori to create a new series to take its place. (Goranger)

But in Heisei, I think the only thing I've heard a lot of rumors about was Ryuki, but even then all we have to go on are rumors. Honestly, I doubt Ryuki ever came close to being canceled, according to a few sales figures I've seen, it's got the highest amount of products sold in the year it was airing, even surpassing Den-O. Hibiki might have been canceled because it does remain to least profitable in terms of merchandise sold, with Kabuto just barely ahead and even then there were never really any rumors suggesting its cancellation.

Eiji has no character development? Its been two episodes dude.

All we can do is wait and watch.

I direct you to Philip, Shotaro, Ryoutarou, hell even Wataru and Tskuasa. I got, to some real degree who they were by the end of their opening stories. Eiji is still...blank.

So the firey death filled flashback doesn't count for some type of character development? o.o

Not really. It's an event. It tells us he didn't save someone, and now it makes him want to save someone. I still have absolutely no idea who this guy really is beyond "Nice guy, wants to save".

Well....the items they used so far are useful. It's not the usual "Lol buy this Perfect Zector that came out of nowhere" item.

I think its the squeaking...I iz hating on the squeaking

But the belt as can say so many other animal names. Are they all cell medals? Did OOO get ant cell or core medal when he beat that monster? GAH! Confusing.

Psst, it's a toy.

Thirdly, CGI's always bad cause Toei's cheap.

...I quite liked the weevil.

saw finished watching the 2nd episode.
gotta say that the series manages to pull my interest and im not disappointed :)

however... where's the rider kick? :(

He did it already...it just wasn't a finisher.

Also untrue. I didn't need to watch the entirety of Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus (though I did)

YOU ARE UNCLEAN!!!!

Just finished watch episode 2.

Here's a question. Now Ankh's got a body, why can't HE use the belt?

As for the oh so common "I love it, I hate it, you'e wrong because you're not agreeing", it's at the moment straight middling with me, so I don't have to be on anyones side :D

I am awake! And wish to expound on some things.

Point 1: Giving a series more episodes - I do acknowledge that this works out for the best for some series. But not all. People who are being negative aren't necessarily saying it *might* not get better. But after having so many bad brain button presses go off in the second episode, especially after the first was kinda decent, was a pretty damn bad whiplash. Like I said before, unless I get *some* kind of indication that it's not gonna continue like this I'm probably just not gonna bother.

Point part deux: You gave Double a chance! - I'm not sure if people remember early on in Double but I don't remember much hate. I mean, there were bits and pieces that people didn't like but nothing that would make a person automatically recoil in disgust. And that's usually enough for me to keep going with it and I think it's the same way with other people. I mean I know people who saw the design for W and was wondering what the hell was going on but *still* gave it a shot when it came out because you never know. And did the same for OOOs. And how that turned out pretty much goes back to the first point.

Part the third - It's only a kids show! - Now I don't know about you but I'm *pretty* sure 'Kids show' doesn't equal 'automatically good'. A kids show can be bad. And I'm not saying I've got some hoi poloi fancy taste because I have watched and enjoyed some silly ass things. But W was also a kids show and it had quality. Kuuga was a kids show and it had quality. If OOOs wants to keep phoning it in, well, that's up to it.

Also a special shoutout to KamenRiderPegasus: Dude, you need to check what you said. Point out to me where anybody *ANYBODY* who had negative things to say about OOOs said that nobody else should watch it, should be pulled from tv and/or pulled from Youtube. This is a message board where things are supposed to be discussed. Everybody has different opinions about things. I know I get teased a bunch for enjoying Den-O but I take it in stride. I know it's not the best thing since sliced bread but it's something I really enjoyed and I'm okay with that. And this is for everybody else: Going to hyperbole to try and make your point doesn't make your stance any better. Let's be adults about this, shall we?

NOTHING is better than sliced bread. I joke. I agree that many are going overboard and they're posting very strong comments as though they speak for everyone. This is a childrens show. It can also be enjoyed by adults and if you have an opinion, you can voice it but this is going too far.

One thing I do like is that OOO switched back to his first form to continue fighting the Yummy.

Time for this again
