I think it went up on the official Website. Some people consider all official Website spellings authoritative even when they're really bad English.

You already have Forever Knight. Let him dream.

Who's "him"???

I...can't tell is we're supposed to take Maki seriously or not. Like, is he SUPPOSED to be comedy relief, or a creepy bastard?

Earlier on, even after his first major freak out, I would have gone with the latter....now...

Either Toei thinks creepy bastards can double as comedy relief, or this is just another example of OOO's terrible choices at picking comedic moments.

If this keeps up OOO will probably be the Rider show with the worst comedy. Sure, Den-O gets a lot of flack. It may have gone overboard with the Imajins and wore out its running gags, but at least its comedic moments were well timed and genuinely amusing. OOO looks as though Kobayashi is just shoving in comedy at random intervals to fill a quota.

Don't you think you're over thinking this? Kids also watch the show... Just saying..

Both. OOO wants to play it both ways with Kougami and Dr. Maki. It wants them to be funny and spawn memes, but also wants them able to function as heavies when the plot demands it.

Some shows can pull this off, but even with one character, it's a balancing act. Trying to do it with two different pivotal characters at once is extremely ambitious.

I don't think it really works, but I think the problem is more with the direction than the script. I think Kougami and Maki's actors could better-integrate the funny and terrifying sides of their personalities if the direction permitted it.
