Is it safe to assume that the cake eating guy is movie birth. His mannerisms seem pretty jumpy and based on the way birth was firing in the opening the erratic nature seems to match. He is also wearing what looks like a rider vendor uniform meaning he likely has some familiarity with the mini shotgun which is about the same size as birth gun.
Also even if gotou isn't birth his expertise with the mini shotgun is definitely there to make us think he's birth. Did anyone else think gotou looked like tachibana for a split second during the closeup during the shooting range scene.

Wasn't Seiji Takaiwa a supporting character with quite a bit of screentime in B-Fighter Kabuto?

Yep, he was Julio Rivera/B-Fighter Genji, but this is the exception. We haven't even seen his face in the TV show since Kabuto or in movies since Kiva. :disappoin

Yep. I really wish he was actually B-F Kabuto in that series.

Wouldn't be the first time it happened. Seiji Takaiwa had a short speaking role in one episode of Kabuto, Jiro was the dojo leader in a couple episodes of Den-O, etc etc.

We need more of this. Suit actors doing cameos is just kick ass. The last ones I recall were in Goseiger, I believe it was Blue & Pink's suit actors.
