If shrimp/prawn have pincers of some kind, that be the connection to me. Crabs & Scorpions both have pinchers/claw, hell Birth's weapon system is CALLED Claws. Anybody know if there are a special named for clawed animals?

Nope, even if the "P" was silent it's still part of the word. The Japanese language is very complex, even if there are english words in it.

It's the way it is pronounced; it's not the way it looks that goes into katakana. The complexity of the language has nothing to do with it.

What if TaJaDol had the regular Hawk head?

This is what I mean. The head changes because it otherwise will look like this.

Rumors,
By the time Date leaves, Birth gets an upgrade.
Goto will become Birth and use the upgrade called Rebirth.
Rebirth has an ultramarine color.
The Solid Shield breaks up in half.
The insides of the eyes starts radiating kind of like in Blue Swat.
His body can turn into a mechanical crab.

Octopus legs are able to become like tentacles and it can be used like whips.
ShaUTa combo allows OOO to turn into liquid.

What if TaJaDol had the regular Hawk head?

I wonder if changing the chest to the regular one with the 3 birds distinguishable would make a difference. (instead of looking like a single bird)

:laugh: I knew what you meant... by definition, pincers are - the articulated prehensile claws of certain arthropods, such as the lobster. I don't believe there's something specifically named after animals that have pincers...

So technically, you're still right, except a claw is more of a general term. :thumbs:

This seems to be on the money for Birth's theme animals. Arthropods are multi-legged invertebrates whose bodies are supposed by exoskeletons. Insects, arachnids, and crustaceans are all common arthropods.

Arthropods have long been taken as the model humans should look toward for building robotics and powered armor. While the Birth suit is very fanciful powered armor, it still behaves more like real powered armor than, say, the IXA suit.
