No Fear, No Pain.
“Reiko…” was all Joan could say before her new friend’s show of faith and will. Even so she knew that what the other riders said was true, this was a battle field and leaving yourself open was a liability to everyone. She nodded to Reiko before pulling away to stand on her own two feet. “I won’t get in the way, I promise. Reiko, thanks, I’ll return the favor somehow.” Joan watched as Kivala charged at the Golem leader with her own finishing attack. She could tell there was a difference in how Kivala and Eclipse fought compared to her. Up until now she had relied on instinct and her powers. She saw that in battles such as these where her comrades were relying on her as much as she was relying on them that she had to do more, and do better. “Help finish things Reiko, I’ll be fine.”

In fantasia…
Xeph entered into the great hall where Aesir sat upon his throne. By now word had probably reached him of the Facility and Fang’s escape. Xeph threw the memory memory to Aesir before speaking to him rather calmly, as if he spoke to an equal. “That memory has records of every aspect of the project. It should help to restart the project in a new location. By the time I arrived at the facility your precious Fang had already escaped. More then half the researchers were already dead, so I finished the rest off. They were…compromised by Fang’s attack. It would have been troublesome had any escaped and continued their research with one of the rebel factions, don’t you agree?” Xeph never took his eyes away from Aesir. As things were Xeph had little choice but to follow Aesir’s leadership, at least until things changed. If they were to fight now, Xeph knew he would parish, but he also knew he could at least injure Aesir enough for one of the few rivals the great spirit had left to take advantage and attempt and over throw. Though such a thing was unlikely, he doubted Aesir was currently in the position to take such a risk.

In the human world...
A young woman road speedily down a back street watching a small monitor on the dash of her bike as she searched for an anomaly. She was less then happy to receive the lesser task considering that two other incursions were occurring elsewhere involving not one or two, but five riders. Observation units had been sent to simply watch the battles, but why had combat units not been sent. As she stewed over the situation she soon arrived at a large church that seemed to be where the anomaly had come to rest. As she looked at the monitor she noticed another anomaly near by, and then another. More unusual signals were appearing then were originally detected. Could it be a full scale invasion, but that shouldn’t be possible at this point. She had little time to spare as she demounted her bike and readied her side arm. She needed to look as casual as possible as not to start a panic. She walked to the door and after taking a deep breath walked in prepared for any situation which awaited her on the other side. As she looked around she noticed three individuals, a nun and two young women. She looked at her wrist and began surveying the area. She detected not one, but three signals. Any of them could be hostile so she decided to use caution and identified the younger looking of the three women as her original target. She slowly approached the young woman, who seemed to be stretching from sitting on the bench for to long, never taking her hand from her side arm, and sat down next to her and began to speak with a serious tone.
“My name is Ebony Nakimora, answer me truthfully, has anything strange happened to you today?”
