As far as I know, no definitive word yet on Kick/Punch Hopper Souchaku-Henshin figures, but I'll be really surprised if they don't get to them in the next year, considering they seem pretty much dead-set on doing a SH figure for anyone who had the words "Kamen" and "Rider" in their name that showed up after 2002. And with basically everyone from Ryuki accounted for, and Faiz more or less, and the major Blade, Hibiki and Kabuto ones out of the way, I would expect the Hoppers would be the next non-Den-O Riders in the works, unless they just want to go cheap and crank out Repaint (aka Dark) Kabuto.
If you can still find them, the Motion Revive candy toy versions are actually pretty cool. They're smaller, but you can do a lot of the major poses, and there's also a great Kabuto in that set you can have them beat up. Those are pretty nice figures, and it's easy to see why Bandai already has not one but two more waves lined up... now if only they had some older Riders.
Aside from that both Kick & Punch got their Action Pose HG figures, which are good but a little more fixed-posed. Then you pretty much get into bottom-of-the-barrel stuff, SD keychains and barely-poseable mini-vinyls.
The erroneously-named Cast-Off Rider Hopper set isn't that bad, and while not as poseable as the Motion Revive ones, they are bigger. That set's sort of humorous because it's like a checklist of ideas that Kabuto introduced and then never really used fully- there's a Zectmizer included, and replacement windshields for the Machine Zectron (since, ya know, everybody was supposed to have one at one point, including Kabuto & Gatack apparently) and then there's the Hoppers themselves.
So bottom line: the C.O.R. set is okay if you need a Hopper fix, but I would think (and hope) that SH Hoppers are due sometime in 2008, so you may want to hold out until then. Or better yet, get the C.O.R. set just in case, then set aside like 30 bucks for the Hoppers (who will probably come in a set, ala Den-O Plat form/Momotaros.)
I just hope to hell that they aren't exclusives.
