I just noticed something that improved the quality of the finale somewhat for me:

Remember back at the beginning with RyouWorm? Kagami shouted "One Day I will surpass you!" to Tendou.
Fast Forward to the finale: The maximum hyper typhoon does nothing against Mishima worm, and its Kabuto's strongest weapon. As Mishima runs towards them, he is cut open by the double caliber thrown by Kagami. Thus in the desperate moment, Kagami surpassed Tendou and Tendou knew it!

One thing I sort of noticed but haven't seen posted about is...

With the exceptions of Juka, Jiiya, Riku and Yaguruma, all the main characters/actors at one time or another, all played Worms or were Worms.

Hey, now that you mention it, it does improve the finale! I was always wondering why MHT failed to damage Mishima, while the Double Caliburs cut through him, but after reading your explanation, everything became clear. I was pretty unhappy at first because I thought the writers forgot about Kagami's vow to surpass Tendou, but now I see that he finally did in the end. :buttrock:

When watching the final, I was hoping that the final scenes will be Tendou and Kagami facing each other. They henshin and fight the promised battle as the series ends. The victor is up to our guess. I think this will be cool ending, but sadly is not used.

Maybe Maximum Hyper Typhoon weakened Mishima's defense and Kagami took that advantage? Have any thoughts about that?
