The worm had grabbed the guard to use him as a shield, holding the guard between itself and the rider. Knowing that shooting right now could be dangerous, Chris was at a loss. If he didn't shoot the worm would kill the man, and if he did shoot, he might kill the man.
"I could, no it may do the same." Chris said under his breath trying to calculate the best method to take down the worm. If the others fired, the worm would turn, and the guard would take the shots.
"Shoot it, shoot!" the guard started screaming, which of course caused the soldiers to wonder what to do.
"Nobody shoot it." Chris said as he reached for the tail of the zecter, pulling it, followed by the trigger the device spoke up. "Cast off" As the device spoke the armor exploded off of Chris body revealing a much sleaker form, known as Rider form. "Change Dragonfly"
The worm was shocked, surprised at the rider's sudden action. Chris was taken a risk by doing so the armor could of easily hit the guard, having the same effect as shooting him. "Clock up!" Chris called out he slipped his fingers over the buckle of his belt "Clock up" the mechanical voice of the zecter repeated, as suddenly Chris vanished.
Of course the security guard, and the soldiers were surprised, since the armored warrior had seemed to vanish in thin air. However, he had merely accelerated his body, to match the speed of a molted worm, and against a worm that hadn't yet molted, it would be more than enough to take it down.
Chris rushed the worm kicking it from the sides, and giving it a couple punches to get it to release the security guard, once it's grip loosened Chris quickly cicked the Worm to push it back away from the guard before he took aim. Folding the wings of the Drake Zecter into scope mode he locked onto the worm and pulled the throttle. "One, Two, Three" the zecter announced as the energy charged up. "Rider Shooting" Chris called and the Zecter repeated him "Rider Shooting", Chris pulled the trigger and a blast of energy slammed into the Worm, decimating it entirely.
"Clock Over!" The zecter said as Chris ended the clock up, appearing clearly to the others as the explosion from his attack ripped the worm to pieces.
"Who are you?" one of the soldiers asked as Chris started to walk away.
"I'm sorry, but I really don't entirely know who I am supposed to be right now."
Walking off to a safe distance Chris released the Drake Zecter from the grip and the armor faded leaving only him. "It's not like I can say I'm the Major's son, now can I." Chris said to himself as he headed home.
