And I think Kabuto looks cool. People apparently think it's going to be exactly like Blade for some reason, but I don't see why. The whole "board" of heroes thing has been done before; Blade wasn't the first. It easily looks to have more of a Kuuga vibe at this point.

Which people said about Blade and I still don't understand why they made that comparison. The preview for Kuuga's first episode was certainly much more exciting than Blade's (or Kabuto's).

I'll still give it a chance, because to be honest, the preview for the first episode of Agito wasn't too hot, but after BOARD and the bland Takeshi, another organization just doesn't sound too fun. Unless it was a bad guy organization, because we need one of those! Off-track here: I was just watching the Ichigou through RX special, thinking of all of the villains and saw how much BOARD could have been a cool twist on something Destron-ish, actually. It's basically like Riderman's situation where he trusted them only to be betrayed by all of them and I hadn't thought of it that way before.

I'm still not too keen that the main writer of Kabuto wrote a crapload of Pokemon, though! For the record, the Magi writer came off of a crapload of Digimon, so...could this be a goof-fest Rider? The secondary guy looks like he's going to be dumb and the cockiness of the young Kabuto seems like it's going to be mostly for chuckles.

:shrug: People also said Hibiki reminded them of Kuuga, but I could see the tiniest resemblance there. As for Blade, I always thought that the earlier Blade episodes wanted so badly to be a mishmash of the Kuuga through Faiz shows. Now we have Kabuto that seems to mishmash Kuuga through Blade, so who knows how it will turn out. I'm not too excited about it, but then again, I anticipated Hibiki at this point last year. :laugh:

I don't want to be one of those superficial guys, but I think "The Bee" looks cool, though. Who knew a bee themed Rider could look cool? I'm in the same state of surprise when I heard that they were doing a heart-based Rider that actually ended up not looking stupid.

Seiji Takaiwa's playing Kabuto and he looks pretty cool in the ads, IMO.

Well a Bee is one of the cooler insect designs you could do, especially compared to a cockroach or something. Not to say the roach thing didn't turn out alright, just saying... cockroach... bee... you see.
