Some, but they never try this hard. For the record, that doesn't mean I'm saying they're bad, just a little...too much. The font's too tiny on the video I downloaded, but I believe Ryuta Tasaki's credited as director of the credits, we know how pompous that guy's become and how overblown he makes credits. Case in point, the second soapy Agito OP credits.

Yeah, I kinda thought the same thing. You want to talk about "pretentious" credits though, the first Blade opening. :laugh:

I always like Kuuga's second opening.

How the heck did you guys even manage to catch "the credits?" Pretentious or not? They're frigging miniscule! I caught only Takaiwa's credit and only cuz I was looking for it...

Not the credits credits, I should have been clearer, but the credit sequence. Like they want to be Faiz's, but I thought Faiz had some nice credits (OK, maybe not the Takumi biting an apple or Kaido blowing a bubble, but for the most part they were neat).

I didn't like Faiz's opening credit sequence. It was too... contrived... like "here are the stars, look at the things they do!"

Ok...credit credits aside - though the remark still stands...I liked the sequence. It definitely gave off the Ryuki vibe and, I dunno - I didn't see anything Faiz-like in it. If anything, it reminded me of Blade ( a conglomeration of OP 1 and 2).

And to play devil's advocate...what's wrong with saying "look at us..we so cooooool?"
