That shot doesn't seem to be in Helheim though... So, it should be after meeting Kouta there.

Holy crap does the design of the White Overlord look stunning. It's grotesque but you can't take your eyes off it.

I'm interested in what the difference between Sagara (if he's just simply an Overlord) and what Mai is beyond how Sagara calls her the 'woman from the beginning'. I got weird Matrix Architect/Oracle vibes from Sagara. As if the Overlords were each from different civilizations (which would make sense given their varying designs), Sagara is maybe from a previous civlization prior to Demushu and Redue and so he's trying to do something in this in this world before it gets taken over by the Invess/everyone wants the power of Helheim like the Oracle trying to beat the Architect in the 5th iteration of the Matrix.

My theory is that the Overlords are supposed to be from different parts of the world that Helheim consumed. An AU Europe, AU China etc if you will.

When Helheim took over, that world hit the reset-button, and then you have Blonde Mai, who I am pretty sure is meant to represent Eve, and we have the Overlords who represent the rulers that shaped our world and history.

From hits and infection from Invess yes. I've yet to see anyone with a functioning belt eat forbidden fruits though.

If we go by the last two Overlords' names being based on colors, we can assume this white Overlord may be related to white. There's two ways of saying white (白), Shiro or Haku, it may possibly be one of these two:

Shiro (しろ) -> Deba (デェバ)
Haku (はく) -> Roshu (ロシュ)

Again, this is just theory of course

Ah, I should've paid attention to that dialogue more. Thanks for catching that, KamenRiderUNDERGROUND.

EDIT: I took the liberty of trying to see what kind of name the blue Overlord (assuming there will be one) may have as well.

Ao (青/あお) (blue) -> Oa (オア) (least likely)
Kon (紺/こん) (navy) -> Shamu (シャム)
Konpeki (紺碧/こんぺき) (azure) -> Shamurinshe (シャムリンシェ)
Sei (青/せい) (azure) -> Diye (ディエ)

I wanted to also translate Gunjou (群青/ぐんじょう) (ultramarine), but couldn't because of the lack of the changeable latters.
