Right now Kouta's hatred for Yggdrasill was due to finding out that the Riders were nothing but guinea pigs as well as the Inves games being an experiment. Despite that, he still saved Takatora's employees. Which was very humbling for him.

Kouta reminds me allot of Eiji from OOOs, in how his character is genuine in how they feel about people and things around them, very idealistic which nothing wrong with e'm

It's been a while now since I marathoned the earlier Heisei Riders; Is this the first time we've had a Rider episode that specifically said "here is the end of the first part"? I can almost hear Shinkenger's narrator telling me that this brings this act to a close.
Ugh please don't get me fanraging again about Irrelevant X. I don't want to miss the new year celebrations because I'm mopping up all the molten hot crazy that would get sprayed all over the place. Clearly Double's producer utterly failed to convince his colleagues that the idea had merit. It's time has passed.
Well they pretty much did that with the Agito format for 5 years before that. It's what they do - find a format and run it into the ground.

Just got finished getting caught up on Gaimu, so far it's a great series, I haven't enjoyed KR this much since OOO. Actually, I think I like this as much as W (which is my favorite) so far. It also got me to watch Madoka, which was great as well; definitely going to have to watch Urobuchi's other works.

Heavily serialized and soap opera(Kuuga had two-parters). Multiple Riders in the show that interacted with each other and sometimes clash(though the times the Riders fought each other in Agito can be counted on one hand).
Looking back on the events of last year, everything seemed to move really fast yet not much of the plot progressed forward. That was a damn good set-up, loved the Rider battles and the characters and the return to the drama formula that characterized Hesei era. Gaim is so far a good ride and I'm excited for the start of the second arc

I was blown away with this episode.
I never exactly liked Gaim. I was busier fanboying over Baron because I really couldn't understand or relate to the whole "hip hop dance for power" thing, or that whole influx of many many riders..
But we understood so much. The narrative from Kouta in the last few minutes of the episode, I dare say it's the best lines I've heard from Kamen Rider.
This episode really opens up everything; what the story is about and why things happened.
I'm still quite blown away so I have high expectations on how the series would develop. This however still doesnt change the fact that Baron is really smokin'
