Kamen Rider Fourze Rumor/Picture Thread Part 2

I'm more of the type of stick with it and take like a man... that why I endure the mid-season lameness of OOO's and it's paying back now as things are gettin exciting now... I like to see how things turn out to be...

a couple bad episodes do NOT make a bad show!

and as much as a experimental mess as Fourze might sound right now. it got my spider-senses tingling and I want to see how it will play...

So is it unbecoming of a true man to drop a show after a few episodes? Dai and Mr Monk make a good point; if I have to slog through hours of a dramatic story that doesn't hold my interst waiting for when it "gets good," wouldn't my time be better spent on something else? Time is valuable!

Not that I've dropped OOO's! I actually watched episode 7 this morning, and thought it was funny, though flawed.. I love the concept of the medals and having to collect them and try different combos, but the way they're doing it is "let's give OOO a new combo this week," and it just seems... unexciting.

I hope Fourze's gimmick is used more naturally. I'm not keen on the switches thing yet, but I'll have to see it in action, I suppose.

For goddamn sake just watch the whole series before you comment on it...

Why? This line of thought makes no sense whatsoever.

That's the point of writing good episodes, chapters, installments. Of good marketing. Of teasers and trailers. Or numerable storytelling tricks. You keep the consumer entertained through the life of the product. If you have a 13 episode series and episode 13 is the greatest thing ever, it doesn't matter if you've lost the audience before you got there.

I mean naturally in terms of the story.

In Blade, for example, Kenzaki has to work for his ****. And if he is granted with a gift like the Absorb Queen thingy, there is dramatic weight to it.

In episode 7 of OOO, Kougami just prepares a new "gift" for Eiju. Ta-da! New medal! It just feels painfully forced.

The reason that Cakeboss can just give Eiji new medals is actually told later in the series: (don't read the spoiler if you actually plan on finishing the series, or don't want yourself spoiled)

He frequently travels around the world (aka Europe) and goes searching for medals, and other things relating to the past events, himself.

You actually have to get past the first 7 episodes in order to understand some of the stuff that actually happened in the first 7 episodes >___>
