I'm ok with movies not being in continuity, cause up till Den-O i believe, msot movies weren't

I hope Fourze doesn't really do anything too weird with Heisei Rider Continuity

The first piece of continuity in the Heisei era is Kamen Rider World.

Kamen Rider was completely devoted to continuity until Agito.

Whether you think things are established or not this still doesn't help the situation. It just makes it more confusing and makes the franchise look weak. There are show out there that actually try to make things make sense no matter how confusing it get. The writers aren't five year old's there smart people who can actually come up with a solid continuity but choose not to and since they choose not to it just makes them look lazy and to me makes it seem like they don't even care.

And before I hear the "it's for kids" excuse: Yes Kamen Rider is for kids but the people making it KNOW that there is an older fanbase no matter how large or small it really is and having things make sense has nothing to do with the age base of your fans. It has to do with how much effort you put into your work.

I just think it goes back to what the Producers do. The Producer as we can see from a lot of these behind the scenes work, has a lot of input to how the finished product turns out. Whether they bring in new producers because they want new and fresh ideas, or just because they need another one, it's evident that they are doing their own thing during their tenure.

Agito cut off all references to Kuuga in order to not undermine the events of Kuuga during the series. Which makes sense. Maybe the Producers don't want to make the events of the previous series seem shallow and irrelevant. They like to keep them as individual products that can't be touched by a different staff.

They could barely get them for their small parts in the V-cinemas and Let's Go Kamen Riders.

Oh really? :O_O: Man W must have really boost their popularity!!

Has it ever? :eyebrow:

Then, the only reason that we now care about continuity is because in Decade it was implied that the original Riders have somehow become aware of, and are in communication with, each other, and the fact that it all ends up with Decade and W teaming up.

To me W was the one that started the continuity trend, especially with it's movies where previous events do carry over or a plot hole has finally been explained!

Yeah, I gotta be honest here I don't give a **** about whether or not we get KR cameos and what's canon and what's not. Can we talk about what actually happened during the episode? Srsly guys, DID YOU SEE THAT ATMOSPHERIC RE-ENTRY SCENE!? I mean, they actually bothered to do atmospheric re-entry! Come on, that was awesome!

Plus bikes! Bikes! So many bikes!!

I really like that they're trying to bring a sense of majesty to space. I didn't 100% love how Gentaro's sight of Earth from orbit was handled, but I really liked the sentiment.

@Hidden: The plotholes you might think are present can be explained, everything can be explained if the Riders are present. We'll just have to wait and see.

@Smilodon: That egoism didn't exist when Ishinomori was around, why lock them in a box away from all the others? I'm sick of Rider series not acknowledging each other, I'm glad things have changed.
