Kamen Rider Fourze Discussion Thread - Switch On!

I must say, there's alot of hotties in Fourze, from Miu (the Queen Bee) to Yuki, the pretty geek girl. For girls, I guess they have their share of studs, from Gentaro to Stun and maybe even Kengo. This is a good-looking cast.

Gentaro's pretty good looking, it's too bad he has to have that ugly hairdo in the show. Kengo's definitely better looking, or that guy with the hairband.

Please writers don't screw up OOO's part! I just watched OOO's part of Movie Core and it wasn't horrible by any stretch of the imagination it was just... non-sensical? Sorry to beat a dead horse here (since its been a while since Core aired), but it was just plain boring.

OOO had a Movie Wars part? I just remember Skull, and then Eiji shows up saving Akiko and they beat down Kamen Rider Core.

Inoue was the writer for OOO's part of Movie Core, which you should had expected it to suck anyways. And yes, I'm way bitter about how he handled Hibiki. I just finished the series recently.

Nope, the movie was all about Skull, and W and OOO fighting a random monster.

Gentaro's pretty good looking, it's too bad he has to have that ugly hairdo in the show. Kengo's definitely better looking, or that guy with the hairband.

I don't know, his hairstyle might grow on us. :O

Am I the only one who seems to feel the Fourze belt looks a bit too plastic-like and doesn't really fit well with the general design of OOO? His main colors are black, white and orange and the belt to me just doesn't really go with it. If they went with another gimmick, that's smaller than switches maybe the belt could had been better. :/

TBH, I barely even notice the belt when he's in action unless he's flipping switches on it.

I rewatched the episode and started wondering if the second episode might be a little darker, or reveal a hidden dark side to this episode.

[Hide]If Miura the football player really is the Orion Zodiart, I wonder if the way Gentaro handled it might have done damage to the "host." After all, Kengo starts yelling at Gentaro when he's talking about using the drill and Gentaro shuts him off before he can explain. All we see of the monster is the switch falling away; then Kengo comes out to attack him in Powerdizer.

He was previously advising him, yet now he's attacking him? It seems unlikely that he's just pissy about the guy using Fourze. Gentaro must've seriously fucked something up in the finisher. While I doubt they'll do anything as dark as "Gentaro killed a dude" in the second episode, it would be interesting if he was forced to realize this early that his recklessness had a consequence.

It would be an interesting way of doing it, to have an unabashedly exciting first episode and then rein it back in to the horror feel of Kamen Rider in the second.[/hide]

I HATED the OOO's portion of Movie War Core and have no desire to ever see it AGAIN. It wasn't nearly as bad as the Decade portion of last year's movie, no, but it was... yeah, nonsensical. Unexciting. They tried to pull that same sappy bullshit I see in the show and it just fails miserably (ballet/battle scene, anyone?). It honestly made me dislike OOO's even more. Which is a shame, because I like everything about it except the writing.

Oh, and Ankh wasn't in it enough. I like Ankh. :coolshades:

Here's hoping the OOO/Fourze movie is more fun.
