This is what I'm going with. Ryusei seemingly killed Gentaro knowing if Kengo completes the cosmic switch it would revive him.

Still amazing episode. One of the best Rider vs Rider fights in the franchise, also great way to reveal Ryusei is meteor. That goes against the theory Gentaro and the others knew all along, so they've just been pretty thick this whole time.

I doubt that Ryusei will ever being kicked out from the Kamen Rider Club.

He gets poisoned by a Grongi and we see Odagiri on the ground convulsing, and as he is moved to a hospital, Tsubaki tries to save him but his heart gives out and Ichijou goes around telling everyone about his death. I believe that was the 19th episode of Kuuga. It was after the first clip episode and the debut of TryGouram.

One of my biggest gripes about kuuga, Godai didn't die, it was just his belt put into a state that resembled death. so that it could heal it's body of the poison

and we know Gentarou will definately forgive Ryuusei, especially after Ryuusei will smile for real next episode

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention Runa Natsui, who played Kaoru Shiba in Shinkenger, made her second guest appearances in the series, where she played Mei Shirakawa and confessed as a girl who is working on becoming Ryusei's girlfriend. I wonder what Tomoko will think when she hears it?

She's either a) relieved to have escaped from the murderer or b) not bothered, because Mei's a guest star who won't be coming back after next week

Tomoko actually looked pretty cut up to find out Ryusei is Meteor, as well she might. Hope that with the Meteor reveal and the arrival of Mei they'll drop Tomoko's connection to Ryusei, she is really too good for him

31 was powerful. Yuuki can follow the henshin sequence perfectly synchronised with Gen! cool!

Aries uses yo(余), whiich is sorta like a regal pronoun(like the english royal we?), to refer to himself when he's in his 'Subaruboshi is my kingdom' mode. The cape, spectre and how Aries walks gives quite the regal air.

Rabbit Zodiarts...I would have liked to see it..lol When was the last time we got a Rabbit monster? 555? Blade?

I think Gentaro realized that Meteor was Ryusei when Meteor said that particular line about friends.

I'm betting that the writer is just toying with the savvy viewer. Maybe do a little tongue and cheek to a certain other work the writer wrote.

I mean, those two kids joining the KRC might be building up to a pretty re-creatable moment. A moment where they say that even if Gentaro is dead and gone, he is still right there on their backs and in their hearts. That he will live on as a part of them as they take his mantle.

At this point people will begin to guess where I am getting at. :169:

Sanjo is the one writing for 31 and 32, not Nakashima. Though they probably planned the story out together with the producer. At this point, the writing seems to be evenly spilt between Sanjo, Nakashima and Hasegawa. 2 eps by Sanjo, 2 eps by Nakashima, 2 eps by Hasegawa, then back to Sanjo again. This patten has been holding since 21, so I think it might hold for the rest of the series except perhaps for the final arc..

I'm actually a bit disappointed with the fight, because Meteor was in the Storm State but Fourze was stuck in Magnet, which made him seemed like a big punching bag for MS to use his kung-fu techniques on. And Magnet's Limit Break was also cancelled by MS's Beyblade Limit Break. It wasn't a good fight because I feel that Fourze was just there getting beat up and One-Inch Punched by Meteor. Perhaps we'll see a better fight if they have a MS vs Cosmic State bout, although by that time Ryusei and Gentaro will probably become BFF and won't fight each other.

I'm glad Meteor's secret identity is finally revealed, because Ryusei's constant "running away from KRC to henshin" shtick was getting old. And for the very first time, we can see how the KRC reacts to Ryusei as himself, and not as a spy for Tachibana.

I guess Cosmic States is gonna be like Kuuga's Rising Forms, where the hero has to apparently die to gain greater power. I wonder why the switch won't work at first, and how an apparent death is gonna change that.

That's a good question.

Elek was about Gentaro realizing that accepting someone means accepting them regardless of their faults.
Fire was about Gentaro using the strength of the people around him as his own.
Magnet was about Gentaro realizing that the fact that people are different from each other are what brings them together.

I'm guessing Cosmic to either be about Gentaro needing to realize that he is also important to other people, so he has to value his own life, or that friendship is a two-way street and that real friends are the ones who are willing to make the same sacrifices as you.

Or like what another poster said, he can just go Kamina. That will make me feel really trolled if that's what happens.
