Story-wise and production-wise, I don't think they would have someone else replaced Ryusei. It's pretty obvious that they're gonna stick with Ryusei being Meteor. The question is, as lazycoconut said, how they are going to make his redemption acceptable.

On a brighter note, we got to see Shun piloting Dizer again. It was really exciting; I might have clapped or pumped fist when he made the entrance :P

@DoGu: did you mean if Ryusei transformed in front of the KRC? If so, no, he didn't. He detransformed in front of them after defeating Gentarou.

Power of friendship.

No, seriously. We're talking about Gentaro. If he says he forgives Ryuusei, the others will just follow what he says. Of course there might be a time with friction between the KRC and Ryuusei, but eventually all will be forgotten.

That's how these series work. Don't think it will get anything more complicated.

You know when he moves his hands during the henshin? What does he do after?

I'm not worried about Gentarou. But if he's the only one who forgives Ryusei, it's not gonna cut it. That's going to throw off the dynamic of the group. Anyway, I have faith that the show will be able to solve this tension. I think the writing quality has been rather consistent so far. It's not perfect, but I can live with those flaws and loopholes.

@DoGu: sorry, I don't really get your question, or rather the point of it. :\

That's why I mention there -might- be conflict between the KRC and Ryuusei during some time. What Ryuusei has done is grave, but with Gentaro back, if he shows regret and works to make amends he will be forgotten.

Once again, Ryuusei is not going away. (Sorry Lazy! You will have to deal with a hero that has done a grave mistake you like it or not!)

And you whine that I force MY opinions on others? Ryusei is a "hero" in name only.

The characters will probably forget Ryusei's actions by the end of next week's episode. The next two-part is about Gentaro's class going on a trip to Kyoto, and Kyoto episodes are Very Srs Bizness

*facepalm* if you'd look past the obvious joke you'd get the sense behind the Zanvat Sword. he's sharpening the blade, so it never gets dull. it's not actually perverted, it's just that people have dirty minds

Your turn. :P

Personally, I think Meteor/Ryusei has always been an anti-hero. While it's true a lot of what he's done could be considered as selfish, he doesn't belong to the typical category of villains or antagonists. I think that is his appeal to me.

Whine? Me? Please.

I've seen many heroes in many different media doing things like Ryuusei or even worse. They always end redeeming themselves and their mistakes forgiven in a way or another.

Ryuusei is a misguided hero right now but probably will start his own redemption from next episode.

Everybody should have died in the end of Faiz. Everybody was either a bastard, a jerk or simply retarded when not all of that at the same time.
