Kamen Rider Dragon Knight - "Search for the Dragon" Talk Up!

I liked it enough for me to download Episode 2, thought the overall performances were solid. But wtf was the DP thinking when he lit the series? It seems like he's trying to go for a dark and brooding city look, but this is a Saturday morning shows for kids, the look doesn't work if the characters, acting and dialogue doesn't match.

What made you say that?

So, what...you'd rather have another corny, mindless, dreck-infested, faux PR clone out there on the market? There's a genuine effort going on to make DK better than that.

There's just no pleasing some people...:nono:

I think that was the point. Kit's not supposed to be this amazing fighter, born to kick ass right away. Len came in and finished off his leftovers, cuz he's the seasoned pro.

I think what she meant was that even though Kit was not supposed to fight, there were parts were he was obviously doing some martial arts moves and it was a stunt double. But, talkin to the actor in the chat, he said there should be more scenes of him doing more action, which is definitely something to look forward to.

Dude, thats exactly the thing they are trying to avoid. They want to be something different and try to bring this genre to a wider audience. How is that bad in any way? I say props to them for bringing the awesomeness of Kamen Rider to the states with a twist. Same thing happened when PR came into the scene. It was a different show from every other kids show. I know it was cheesy, but it did bring a level of kick assery that sentai had in japan. So, if they can spark that flame again with KRDK and at the same time make it stand out as a totally different and unique show, we should be satisfied with that.

Yes indeed, this show now isn't just for kids, this is an ALL AUDIENCE SHOW as what Maya Young says in the interview and also, this is NOT DISNEY! Think of this show to be the reincarnation of Power Rangers Time Force back in a different world and a different style.

Re: Chrono

Ah.. :sly: .. eh.. :eyebrow:.. yeah. What he said, sorta.
