Can someone tell me which character Bandai use for Ixa in CH? Nago or Otoya? Or is it both? Why don't they split Ixa to be two different characters, Nago's Ixa Burst mode and Otoya's Ixa Safe mode, like they do with Goto's Birth and Date's Proto-Birth? That way, they can make both Ixa as a tag team partners too, right? As we all know already, they can cross to different timeline via that door in Castle Doran.

But, I thought in Nago's time (2008), the basic form of Ixa is the Burst mode and NOT the Safe mode. Nago never fights using Ixa Safe mode. Only people in 1986 time used Ixa Safe mode.

His first fight in the series was in Safe Mode (Episode 9 against the Frog Fangire), he activates Burst Mode for the first time in Episode 10. Later on in the series he fights in Safe Mode again. Kengo also fought once in Safe Mode.

The game's IXA is clearly Nago. He talks like Nago, acts like Nago and has Nago's finisher.

You're correct. I completely forgot about that. Before, I mistakenly thought that IXA safe mode were only used by the 1986 people.

Well, if you wanna be technical ab out it, Safe Mode appeared during pretty much all of IXA's transformation sequences, regardless, didn't it?
Thus makin' it pretty clear it's still THERE, just hardly ever used. :B

:laugh: Funny because he's the cheapest character in the Climax Heroes series as well as Dragon Knight for the Wii. All you need to do is keep shooting with his gun and you'll win instantly.

You are right if we are talking about CH and CHW, they powered him down in CHOOO. His recovery time is big and he charges his gauge reaaaly slowly.

Zolda is cheap cuz his moves are from CH/CHW's Diend (All DK Riders re-use moves from other characters from CH, like for exemple Knights cuts that came from Zeronos's). But Bandai did power him down too, they took out Shoulder Shoot Vent xD
