Kamen Rider 555 ~ Series Discussion

x1xBladex1x don't open the spoiler tag.

[hide]Because they were given Orphenoch cells, and if I remember right their memories were altered/erased/changed. However something went wrong with Mari's Orphenoch cell infusion and that's why she can't transform, but the others can.[/hide]

ohh yeahh i rmmbr that!haha tenx tenx :)

Yeah, I never noticed it until my third or fourth time watching the series and I freakin' love this series. So don't feel to bad.

Now for Kusaka, he use to be one of the few Riders I couldn't stand/didn't like. Which is why I liked it whenever he would get his butt kicked. However over the past year or so I've actually grown to not hate, but also not love his character. He sets comfortably in the middle.

Not to mention he always brought something to the storyline they had going.

[HIDE]Although given his character I did feel his death was a cope out. Granted it was fitting that t was Kiba, seeing as how he enjoying playing him and his hatred for his type (not to mention how far off the deep end Kiba became near the end), but a simple quick death that you would miss if you blink felt wrong.

I would have preferred to see him go down in a final showdown or something.[/HIDE]

Thanks Saejima for the warning. *Did not read that, but wouldn't have anyway*

:redface2: & Thanks to whoever told me Kusaka isn't an orphenoc.:redface2:

Out of the Heisei Kamen Riders that I've watched(Ryuki,555,Blade,Hibiki,DenO) this is perhaps the best in my opinion(I'll get to watching Kabuto soon, then hopefully Kuuga and Agito). I've watched this series in a week without taking a break. The story was like a rollercoaster ride all the way through, there weren't any stops, just constant drama. There are no "arcs" where the show dedicates to each Rider.

Another thing I liked about this series was the fact that it was so...how should I word this... apocalyptic. It was just the Riders against Smart Brain, there was nothing backing the Riders at all. No higher power that can help them. I also liked how the Rider's powers were not constant. Faiz could beat up an Orphenoch one episode and totally get trashed the next time they meet. Thankfully the Riders don't get power-ups(except Faiz), and when they DO get a power-up, it wasn't abused every episode afterwards like Hibiki and acted as a fix all.

Takumi's acting is a bit lacking, although I'm not sure if that was the director's intention... But Kiba made up for it xD.

Hm, I don't exactly see what's the problem with takumi's acting? Maybe I don't notice his expression and face much when he talks? :s

I think Takumi does is role well.

Edit:

Finished 37 & watching 38.

ahh, that idiot Kusaka just hit Mari!!!!!!!!! I want her to smack the crap out of him so bad. We don't get to see him get hit around much, I want someone to beat him up.

Just finished 39.

Wow, I was hoping we'd have a double girl henshin & Mari would get to use the Faiz belt, but darn. It was cute how she said "henshin" the second time she tried.

Atleast there's a female rider at the moment. Too bad [hide] looks like she dies or gets hospitalized in the preview for 40. [/hide]

*goes off to watch 40*

The red Faiz is cool. Figures Rei Fujita orphenoc would duck. Lol He even took the train car down.

You can tell which character or actor is good when everyone hates him and that is what they were going for. Kusaka is awesome, he is a great antagonist. Throughout the show I wanted to shove his head in a garbage disposal, but I appreciated his part in the show when I was done with it. Great stuff.
