Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger The Movie: The Flying Ghost Ship

[Savior Den-o]

Brief movie synopsis

From ca3blog, rushed translation, long day hehe:

"Any wish, just one, can be granted"

This is the power of the unbelievable treasure, the "God Eye". Searching for it, the Gokaiger meet up with the "Ghost Ship" and board it. However, aboard they come to blows with the Ghost Captain Losdark, and are forced to battle. Marvelous and the other 4 Gokaiger are left in hell!

Kegaleshia's idol unit G3 Princess appears in the movie as guests. This was achieved by a "Love Call" from Watanabe (the producer).

So, the movie is about a Ghost Ship that grants one wish? Cool:buttrock:

So, G3 Princess are in for fanservice..............sweet:anime:

What a great idea, resurrect one of the stupidest things Sentai's ever done so far. Why not go all the way and do an episode where Marvelous turns into a cat as a Shinkenger homage?

Hater much?

Hater much?

G3 Princesses/G5 Princes were stupid episodes. Get over it

"Love call from the producer?" That sounds ... oddly meta  The producer appears as an actual character in the movie?

Well, i see someone hating over Go-Onger

Half the people on the board hate Go-onger. I like it! I just think those were very bad episodes. Gokaiger has had a good mix of comedy and drama so far, but I think that doing something as stupid as G3 Princesses/cat!Takeru/Tsuruhime Burger or whatever would be badly out of place

[Senshi]

Ah, here we go.

*sits in corner*

That just means that Watanabe personally asked them to appear in the movie as special guests since they are friends. It's not as perverted as it sounds.

Damn. I was expecting an existentialist masterpiece where the producer shows up as a character and gives us thought-provoking questions about the meaning of life, pirates and idol girls :disappoin

They're saving that for the beach episode.
