Why the hell does Rio have to become a good guy so soon? Keeping him as a villain for most of the show could build up some tension between him and Jan. Cause I still get a feeling that, when you consider that Rio has a dark memory in his past and Jan has no memory of his past, there has GOT to be a link between them. I mean, it's kind of obvious to me, but I could be wrong.

Well, nobody's know if it will be too soon. It could happen in the summertime, which could a little better than having it, let's say next month, now that would be a diaster. Also, that feeling you mention is the same feeling I've got. Jan and Rio had the same amount of power, Rio has a dark past that still haunts him, and Jan has no memory of his past. This kind of clues me on to thinking that both Rio and Jan were in the woods on that day when Rio's nightmare occurs. But right now, I'm not sure, I have to watch more episodes and get more clues to solve this puzzle.

Darn, and here I was just getting comfortable with the idea of Rio and Mele actually staying villains for the duration of the series. Even if they have to go good, can't they hold that off until mid-series? This brings too many questions up. What's going to happen to Kurojishi? It definitely doesn't look like a hero suit, I'm kind of hoping we get a Kouichi-like situation from Digimon Frontier. Bad guy turns good and his suit gets altered but still looks pretty cool. Then there's Mele, say what you will about Geki not being cat-based, but at least the rangers and Rio are. Does that mean maybe she'll actually stay evil if/when she finds out Rio never really felt anything for her?

They used to make villian figures(during the 80s). The last one was Loki from Gaoranger. Unless if you count Vancuria from the Popy company (which is a part of Bandai).
