As for her in general, I actually like Mele. Her outfit is cool. Not fond of her monster form but oh well. I wish she would quit using that deep voice -- it's awkward and forced.

The fact that so many girls are like that (I was like Mele once, too) is just sad. I, for one, had the presence of mind to wake up and move on. And I agree with you about the deep voice. I prefer her higher voice.

Mele's deep voice is a definate nod to Classic Sentai villianess'. Definate awesomeness in my book. Her lighter voice makes her seem like a ditz.

Japanese fictional girls are always like that. Because the japanese have this fetish about creating female characters that are just fucking devoted to one guy for no particular reason other than some hidden fantasy they have. I don't have a problem with Mele's obsession with lio. It's standard business in the world of Anime and Toku is no exception

What the hell? They introduced the Five Venom Fists... and NOW they're going to just have them be regular, kill-'em-off one at a time MOTWs? Dammit, I was really looking forward to this storyline.

That bit with what was under the bag on Centipede guy's head was pretty cool, though.

I had a feeling the MOTW switch would happen by seeing the preview. Im not too surprised but at the same time I'm still dissapointed. I knew the writers couldnt deliver.

Kinda seems like they're taking the random anime "kickass set of bad guys get killed off one episode at a time." Somewhat reminds me of the Nejiranger saga actually.

wow some posts already start to discuss epi 5... this epi was actually quite good as you can see how cool rio made his appearance, black lion vs red tiger cg effect, the way mele smack that housefly dj or whatever it is.. but the only one thing that dissapoint me is the giant machinary thingie had its injection T_T

that few seconds part is really a "no-no".. it just doesnt make sense @_@ or am i wrong??
