I'm psyched at the idea of more one off rangers and the fact that any of the batteries can technically be used as a "henshin battery" was a smart move on Bandai's part so that any kid/fanfic writer can come up with any ranger based on any battery and its already semi legit. I approve.

But I think its lame that he feels obligated to apologize. Theres nothing to apologize for.

Why is everyone getting so bent out of shape about this, its not even close the first time its happened. It doesn't really make that big of a difference, why give a damn what gender everybody is as long as they're fun characters?

There's any number of sites out there that talk about why female presence is important in shows like this. (I won't derail the thread here but could link you privately.) If other people want to see more female Rangers, that's their choice. It's possible Japanese fans want to see more too, otherwise Sanjo wouldn't apologise.

I still haven't seen any evidence of genuinely bad or sexist writing in Sanjo's work - the fandom's cry of "we hate Yuuki and Akiko" notwithstanding. However, I haven't seen his anime work, so ...

I guess I just feel that the good parts of this show are thus far vastly outweighing the minor nitpicks I could have. I'm mostly just happy to be watching Sentai again after my 6 month hiatus. After trying so hard to enjoy the parts of Go-Busters that weren't Beet J Stag (Who is Excellent). Its nice to get a series that already feels vastly more enjoyable Go-Busters IMHO. I mean, I guess I could nitpick this series, but until it REALLY fucks up; I don't want to.

Yeah, fair's fair, although I would've loved more than one girl Kyoryuger is still a really fun show so far and it's got a lot of positive things to enjoy, there's nothing wrong with wanting to appreciate that

Although as petty as it is I do have one complaint, after seeing pictures of KyoryuCyan I'm a little bummed that the main 5 Rangers don't get to have the Gold accents that he has on his helmet and chest. Cuz just like I predicted, it looks WAY better than the super intense yellow, but such is life.

yup its the first time tht there is only 1 female in a 7 senshi team

Dekaranger had 10 senshis, 5 was female



beside if its a girl who dis kyoryuger, she should have more girls in it....





also those things are like numbered to up at least 20, i dont think there will be 20 rangers.... dinos yes but not rangers...


also its not the first time cyan is used in sentai, but the other cyan dressed rangers were called Blue

What ever you think its cultural and all, maid cafes are a sexist thing, even if the girls are respected
