Jungle Fury "Scab" Writers Taking Over Soon

[Skyknight]

Rangerboard reports that JF will soon begin the portion of the season that was affected by the Writer's Guild Strike. Bruce Kalish, Jackie Marchand, Dave Garber, and John Tellegen were unavailable to write scripts, so "scab" writers took their places

[NinjaJack]

whcih episodes are the scabby ones

[Undrave]

Watch as those episode blow us away with how different and neat they are

The irony would be DELICIOUS.

[Forever Knight]

^ So true.

BUT.... if Jackie Marchand ain't involved then it will most likely end up being ****. Jackie Marchand has been my favourite for a long damn time.

[The 2nd Evil]

We've been discussing this in the Jungle Fury episode title thread. Here's the description for the first scab episode, along with a few comments:

New info via Kyl416 at funaroboard:

PRJF Episode: 1616 - "Friends Don't Fade Away"
Writer: Ally Mondera

[HIDE]After his last battle with Dai Shi, RJ has major problems controlling his animal spirit. He turns into a werewolf and becomes a big threat to anyone around him. RJ learns to lean on his friends and not run away from them when he has a problem. In the evil temple, Dai Shi is overthrown as Grizzaka refuses to take orders from any human.[/HIDE]

Here we are with our first scab script.

Digging the name of Maku's counterpart. Makes sense considering the animal that he is.

[Forever Knight]

Not too shabby. I see how they'll use Gou's storyline with RJ.

When are these episodes supposed to air anyway?.

[The 2nd Evil]

The latest we know is both parts of Ghost Of A Chance is airing on May 19th.

Part one is written by John Tellegen, part two by Jackie Marchand

After that is the final regular writer episode in Bad To The Bone written by Bruce Kalish.

[Tom Constantine]

It can't be worse than say... Operation Overdrive, right?

Like 2nd said, we've been discussing the scab deal in the JF spoilers topic and other topics as well. Check around.

I cant wait to watch the scab episodes. Like I've said, they could be good because these are guys with something to prove. They dont have an automatic "come back next year!" job. So they have more motivation to provide something for their bosses to judge their worth on.

On the other hand, scabs chosen may not be the best writers or the most experienced. As such, with a show like PR, we may just get a real mess of continuity and story errors that mix between sentai and JF.

Cmon Ally Mondera! *cheer*
