[Jetix.tv] Power Rangers Jungle Fury -- "The Blind Leading The Blind"

I'm still not too into the idea that the master trains his student DURING the ass-kicking of the student's teammates though. I just feel like, if this was real, the master would simply go beat the hell out of the monsters in order to save their lives, and THEN worry about training the student to protect himself. But egh... it's JF, and apparently, members of the Order of the Claw can learn **** really, really fast.

Definitely agree here. They probably did it so there was always a sense of urgency in the air. I wish they would have put more emphasis on trance not not just "clearing the mind". If you think about it, Theo had a lot to worry about. Job, training, and his friends dying. So a little more pressure on the idea that Theo needs to perform this fluid fan-technique in order to clear his mind and enter a trance state, would have been more appropriate.

Not just "well I have to do it so... I did it yes! All done!".

By the way, is there a reason PRJF is airing on Sunday instead of Monday?

Great episode. For a second there, I was thinking, "Who are you?" Master Swoop: "I am Batman." You're not Batman.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Anyway, nice job on the fight scenes, different than what was seen in that Gekiranger episode with Master Li's appearance, but I actually like it.

-You'd think that, after Can't Win Them All and Dance the Night Away, Theo would stop being such a cocky dick, but apparently not.

-Did Flit just show up in the zord battle and not say or do anything? I think I can live with that!

-How is Theo so unfocused now when he was nothing like that before? Damn, ten episodes in the writers STILL don't know how to utilize his character.

-Theo has NO reason to be so cocky. He can't even multitask properly.

-Oh, God, not more of this "Theo doubts himself" ****. It makes more sense here than it did in Can't Win Them All, but come on, we did this already!

-"Like my fan?" How is that even clever?

By all means, this should have been a GREAT episode, which really gave us insight into Theo's character. But it doesn't work because they STILL haven't figured Theo's character out yet. After CWTA, he learned not to be such a cocky bastard and not to be so hard on himself, but then proceeds to do the exact same thing here. THIS should've been CWTA, it would've worked much better.

On the plus side, no Flit, and the fights were pretty good. Other than that, though... 2/5.

I was surprised by that. We see Flit but he says nothing.

He's a very phallic person. :rimshot:

Have to agree here. This episode didnt grab me. John dropped the ball here (or 'pen' as the case may be.)

I just wanna say that I'm beginning to get really annoyed by the rangers saying the names of their weapons and attacks. It didn't bother me at first but now it's getting ridiculous. Do we really need to hear them say "JUNGLE PRIDE MEGAZORD!" after destroying a monster or "JUNGLE PRIDE MEGAZORD WITH ELEPHANT OR BAT POWER!"? What's the point? We know what they are.
