[Jetix.tv] Power Rangers Jungle Fury -- Tigers Fall, Lions Rise

I haven't done a review for the last four episodes, so let me do a quick one now:

"Fear and the Phantoms": Sucked.
"Blue Ranger, Twin Danger": REALLY sucked.
"One Last Second Chance": Meh, it was halfway decent.
"Don't Blow That Dough": Didn't even bother with it.

Okay, now that that's out of the way...
-This new Jetix player sucks.
-"I can't believe a Phantom Beast attacked you." "I can't believe he has a tiger spirit just like you." "I can't believe RJ's letting you sit in his chair." Oh, Theo, we can always count on you to say dumb ****. Also, way to be concerned for your friend, asshole.
-I actually like the subplot with Casey and his students. It's a lot better than Lily's in FatP. But at the same time, it seems like it's overrshadowing A-plot. Yeah, Casey was weaker when he tried to show that move, but it didn't really seem like it showed the way it did later on in the episode. It seemed more like he was having an off day than beng actually weaker.
-Hey, there's Fran in the background not doing anything important, as usual.
-This episode is playing out an awful lot like a battlizer episode, but we're not getting one. Ain't that somethin'?
-So Jimmy has tiger spirit too? They just give out animal spirits, don't they? They're like SPD morphers.
-Oh, Jimmy and Todd are friends now? After Todd continuously beraded Jimmy and treated him like ****? I'm not saying that Jimmy should hold a grudge, but something about that scene just doesn't sit well with me.
-And did Casey get his strength back or not?

All in all, this was a decent episode, nothing special. I liked the subplot with the school, but the animal spirit plot seemed to be really overrshadowed. And like I said earlier, this episode played out like it was going to be a battlizer episode, probably more so than other battlizer episodes, so that was weird. I'm interested to see where Jarrod and Camille's new powers are gonna go, too, so hopefully the next few episodes will be really good. So, I'm in a really good mood today, so I'm gonna be generous and give it a 3/5.

Well, It's been six week but I guess think are just going a little hoity toity.

Now on to the episode.

Positive Feedback:
-Great job on the fight between Whiger and the other rangers
-The Fight between The Phantom Beasts Generals and the rangers were getting a few darker vibes, but needed to be more like the Geki episode of GenJuu-Ou Rio's Intro.
-Love the tone of Casey's reaction of his animal spirits fading away slowly.
-Jarrod-Shi & Camille's new Phantom Beast outfits.

Negative Feedback:
-No actual confrontation between Casey 2.0 and Tod outside of class
-No actual fight between Casey 2.0 & Whiger
-The ending seemed a bit too rushed up.

Overall score: 7.31 or a 7.25 out of 10.

Are you in a bad mood or something? :eyebrow:

I forgot to post here the same time as on rangercast.

And it's time for another of my recaps famous and hated around the world.

But it's at least as funny as a Jimmy Fallon and I don't make you pay for $10 for a ticket.

This recap brought to you by Kamen Rider Kiva. This week featuring the RETURN OF THE CGI THINGIES. And Mama, he's coming home I think.

And by Engine Sentai Go Onger now with even MORE Mecha because that worked out so well for Boukenger and its whooping three rangers with characterization....

Also brought to you by Star Wars Clone Troopers merchandise with the Talking helmet that lets little Johnny re-enact Order 66 on their parents. Hey is that thing loaded....

-Hey Casey's a teacher now thats... out of nowhere.
-and he gets owned.
-Ranger ON RANGER VIOLENCE! (Nice to see the stunties having fun.)
-Oh no, an annoying child. CRAP. I hate those.
-Whigger gets Face time.
-Hey the kids aren't trying disguise their accents which is nice.
-Nerd Ranger, isn't that someone's screen name.
-Jogging and teaching.
-Okay Whigger doing something creepy to Casey that didn't look quite right.
-So we get RJ vs. Whigger which sort of explains how they're going to use the GekiRanger footage.
-"I can't believe RJ's letting you sit in his chair" - LOL.
-finally some backstory on the beast wars (Now you no longer EXIST!)
-Dai Shi vs. Whigger. Good Stuff.
-Ah Dai Shi does refer to Casey as their leader NOT RJ. Good. and The Phantom Beast King mention again.
-Casey and the training post I'm assuming is something the actual stuntie team uses since it looks rather beaten up. (and painted recently).
-Ah so Dai Shi gets his power-up BEFORE Camile in this time.
-Its time the Rangers had an audience with the KING. Oh yes.
-Hey there's Fran. Hi Fran *waves*
-Unmorphed beatdown in progress. nice to see the Cast is really throwing themselves into the training.
-OW! Rangers get their ass kicked.
-Oh they got RangerDolled.
-They took his spirit but they couldn't say take his life.
-Oh cute, Whigger says "Run" to the annoying child.
-NZ fight footage.
-Uh oh, it's the theme music Whigger, you know what THAT means.
-So thats where the shot of Casey helmetless comes from. I have to commend Jason Smith, he doesn't look too bad in the suit.
-Uh Oh the Phantom Beast Generals are worried.
-Ah, the callback to the old MMPR commerical with Jason trying to avoid a fight and Trini teaching her student (and the kids at home) that the greatest martial art is converting an enemy to a friend.

+++And now a disturbing commerical for High School Musical 3. You know Disney you should wait until the girl is OLD enough before you tart her up a little.

Overall: It's filler but it's not bad filler since it advanced the story on the bad guys side. I am kind of curious as to why when RJ was having his spirit problems he almost immediately wolfed out but Casey hasn't. I would guess that because Casey wasn't trying to hide or supress his beforehand that maybe he has more time?
