Jackass Star Ryan Dunn Killed In Car Wreck

Now it`s coming out that Fred Phelps and his cult are planning to protest Dunn`s funeral..

I hope that this is not true.

EDIT:Unfortunately,it is true.I looked it up

Yeah, one of my friends was talking about how he expected they'd show up there. It's sad that they choose to define themselves with funeral protests.

The problem with that is he was driving drunk and killed the passengers in his car through his own negligence. If G4 made something out of his death, the channel could be perceived as paying tribute to a murderer

They haven't yet verified that drinking was the cause of the accident. Yes, there were pictures of Dunn and his friends drinking posted before the wreck, but that was by hours, and it's very possible that he was no longer intoxicated, or intoxicated enough to cause the kind of massive crash that kills both passengers, by the time he got in the car. I'm not trying to excuse his actions (obviously he had to have been speeding), but it's a little hasty to say that two people died because he was driving drunk, and more than a little judgemental to label it murder. It was an accident. An unfortunate, senseless accident that could have been avoided, but you're making it sound premeditated or like Dunn was entirely to blame when almost no details of the crash have been released yet.

... why? Aren't those pieces of **** busy making gays and military servicemen's families miserable? What could they possibly have to say at the funeral of a Jackass crew member that died in a car crash? Don't tell me those inbred backwoods fucks don't drink alcohol.

If they do appear at Dunn's funeral, it's going to be reeeeeaaaaaaal interesting to see how the rest of the Jackass guys respond. I can't exactly see them taking it lightly or abiding their right of free speech...

I thought they had verified he was intoxicated while being behind the wheel.

And honestly, by the reports of the amount of booze he was documented as consuming (not to mention the amount that was probably undocumented), I doubt it could be something cleared up by only an hour or two.

I said it could potentially be PERCEIVED as such, especially if family members of the other victims raised a stink over it, which is why G4 is being quiet on the whole issue.

And... while you're right that all the details are not out yet, if he WAS as responsible as the initial reports seem to indicate, he IS a murderer through Criminal Negligence.

Well, Dunn was drunk when he crashed. His blood alcohol level was 0.196 and reportedly driving at near 130 mph.

That being said, it's sad when anybody dies but someone who drives at such a reckless speed (and fucking drunk no less) obviously doesn't care about his own life, or that of his passenger. I feel for his family and friends, but it's very damn hard for me to feel sorry for him.

'Jackass' star's blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit

Police say "Jackass" star Ryan Dunn's blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit when he crashed his Porsche and killed himself and a passenger on Monday in West Chester, Pa.

West Goshen Township police say toxicology results released Wednesday showed that Dunn had a blood-alcohol level of 0.196, well over the state's legal limit of .08. Coroner reports released Tuesday said full toxicology results would not be available for 4-6 weeks. But the blood-alcohol level was released and attributed to police in online reports Wednesday afternoon.

Dunn was seen in a photograph posted online drinking with friends in the hours before the crash that also killed his friend, Zachary Hartwell.

Dunn was allegedly driving at speeds near 130 mph the night of the violent crash, and a new report sheds light on his long record of speeding.

In the 13 years before his death, Dunn, 34, was cited at least 23 times, including 10 stops for speeding and careless driving, and three more for driving with a suspended license, according to a report on Philly.com.

Among those violations was a 2005 DUI arrest; charges were dropped when Dunn completed a probationary program that included the suspension of his license for more than a year, according to court records.

"He drove too fast," April Margera, mother of Dunn's friend and "Jackass" costar Brandon "Bam" Margera, told NBC10 on Monday. "I yelled at him all the time about that."

Since the accident, the stretch of the Route 322 bypass where Dunn and Hartwell crashed and died has become a memorial of sorts, with a steady stream of visitors and a collection of flowers and cards.

According to Philly.com, a private funeral for Dunn was scheduled for Wednesday.

Well, there it is. I would've liked to have given him the benefit of the doubt but it appears to be one more case of thoughtless, impetuous behavior leading to the death of another young person.

With the way the guys in the Jackass crew must party day and night, I would have expected him to be able to handle his alcohol a little better. That's why I was initially skeptical about the reports of him being dead drunk as opposed to slightly tipsy by the time he climbed behind the wheel. The speed was in all likeliness more of an impediment in the end than the alcohol, though, although I don't know how much the two are related.

You have to remember that alcohol does bad things to people. Intoxicated individuals don't always think rationally, the way they do when they can make use of all their unimpaired mental faculties. I have a cousin and good friend who was involved in an unfortunate drunk driving accident last year, and by no means does his accident prove that he doesn't value his life or was inconsiderate of the person in the parked big rig that he crashed into. It was just one of those stupid mistakes that he's feeling bottomlessly contrite over that tragically has to happen in many cases for someone to realize what they've been doing is wrong.

I suppose it was presumptuous on my part to say that he didn't value his life. But, ****, it is so very difficult for me to sympathize even knowing that alcohol impairs judgement. He most likely went out for the night knowing that he was going to drink and drive, knowing full well what the potential consequences could be though he had probably done it a thousand times before.

I did err in saying that he didn't value his life, but he certainly did not act in the best interest of his or his friend's safety.
