Maybe it's a marketing thing.. like the director forced him to have that look on all his shots because it sells..
Just like dreamworks has the "tude" look because marketing thinks they'll sell more with that expression..

Maybe it's because I'm a dude and all but...what I don't understand how women can find that guy attractive...the guy just looks dirty...in fact...wasn't it said somewhere that he doesn't shower?

Someone who'd worked with him on set told a reporter the guy has terrible personal hygiene, yeah. I think a lot of the problem is that the books make out Edward is the hottest guy in the whole world, and no one can live up to that on screen. It's like trying to find an actress for Helen of Troy - the character is superhumanly gorgeous, so you'll never get someone to match it

I'm sitting here for movie day with my sister and watching the 3rd Twilight movie, which is complete and utter bullshit.

The question I have is

Why does Edward always have the facial expression like if someone peed in his cereal?.

I think for a total of 2 minutes in this movie he had a normal face and the rest of the movie he looked like he had explosive shits he was fighting off during filming.

They were trying to give him character that the books could never give him. It's also because he sparkles like a fairy.

Maybe he hates that he sparkles?

I think Robert Pattinson is attractive when he's not playing Edward. He's cute when he's laughing and trading quips with Jon Stewart. I don't get the brooding/whiteface/hair mountain thing. But everyone in the Twilight movies looks kinda off to me, compared to how they look in other movies.

Then again, it's been a while since I was a teenager -- I remember I liked just about anything attractive-shaped when I was that age, too.
