I never liked Torrents to begin with. They are so slow. And then you have to know what the hell "seeding" and "leeching" is, and how to "seed", I just want to download dammit!

Anyone that can't figure out seeding and leeching... Well you need to have a chat with Darwin.

Slow? Usually torrents DL faster then a normal download for me. Btw leeching is downloading. Seeding is sorta like reuploading so others can download it too.
Was that really that hard? Honestly it takes like three clicks to DL the latest OOO episode so I don't see how this "torrent idea" is complicated. Hell you don't even need to know what seeding or leeching is to do it.
Why don't you guys actually use torrents for longer then 2 seconds? And honestly even the slowest torrent can just work in the backround while it's finishing. Do you guys seriously have nothing else to do except wait for a file to finish downloading?

The terms are as they look. Seeding is that you're uploading and leeching is that you're downloading. You automatically seed when you're done leeching to help others unless you mess with your settings.

There's this freeware game I got that took me like a minute to get even though it was 90+ MB because the were many seeders. I'm still seeding it since many of them dropped.

Eh? Torrents are the bomb. :buttrock:

You can download 20G worth of media, pause it along the way, and expect it to still complete even if it takes a week, even if you close your PC anytime in the middle... Unless you don't have seeders anymore.
