I'm starting a Tokusatsu dubbing company.

I'm sorry, but unless you literally have millions of dollars to fund this, you will never be able to do it. If you are starting some kind of dubbing company then you need to look into business loans and such. Having a company like this funded by fan donations just sounds like you are doing fandubs.

Unless they start off with something like Armor Hero from China... that will just be pennies XP

The bigger problem is the complete lack of a clear goal. What do we get if enough people are crazy enough to donate 37.000 dollars to you? Are we supposed to throw money at you just to show the japanese companies that there's a small group fanatic/crazy enough to invest in something like this!? And if so, what japanese companies are we talking about here, Toei? this is spare change to them most likely, Tsuburaya?

This is terrible and I hope nobody donates.

Are you rich?
If the answer is no, then you arent gonna get far with this.

I wanted to ask that.

I'm terribly sorry for this misunderstanding. I should have made it clear that this was just to cover the expenses of starting a start-up, Obviously, our $37,000 goal isn’t going to buy the roughly $25,000-$1,000,000 licences. The real money will come from Angel Investors, and later, actual Venture Capitalists. Then we can start buying properties of real worth. Until then, we will have to stick to buying cheap properties, raising revenue by selling those and items such as T-shirts and coffee mugs, and thrifty and wise spending.

If you can not cover your own start up expenses, then you should seriously stop now.

You are also delusional if you think any license will be under 500k.
